Ohtels Gran Hotel Almeria

Lovely comfortable room on 6 floor overlooking the port. Good size balcony. Room overall a great size plenty of storage space and bathroom was very modern and well equipped. Spotlessly clean and cleaned every day of our 10 day stay. Location of the hotel is excellent. 10-15 min stroll gets you everywhere. Parking in hotel is limited and at €18 per day can add up. Parking available across the road in underground car park for €10 per day. Excellent pool for the hot days, limited sun lounge rts at times. We never had a problem getting on as people are coming and going all the time. Staff on reception are superb, very friendly and knowledgeable and can’t help you enough. Would I stay again Absolutely!

Great hotel with private pool. Good location. Newly refurbished. Rooms are clean and modern. Good selection of breakfast and bar food. Friendly and helpful staff. There was no kettle in the room but you could request one at reception for a refundable deposit. Would stay again.

This hotel is central to Almeria city and opposite the port of Almeria. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and a shout out to juan who made our stay more enjoyable by recommending local restaurants and sites to visit. Not taking away anything from the hotel but Almeria city is more a city break hotel rather than a full week holiday. The location is great for shopping.The nearest beach was 40 mins walk away or 10 mins on a bus if you want a sunbed to lay on but 5 mins if you go prepared with your own chairs and umbrella. We were not prepared so had to bus and walk. The breakfast was buffet and had something for everyone which was very good. Rooms were spacious and very clean.we had a sea view room which was great but not many hangers in wardrobe. I would 100% recommend a stay here as all the staff were lovely friendly withexcellent customer service.

Visited for 2 nights on a solo trip, felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Immaculately clean hotel. I stayed in room 126 which had a view over the port. Can’t comment on food & drink as I was room only. Lovely pool area, small pool / sundeck but was always plenty of loungers available as the hotel seemed quiet when I was there. Best thing about it was the location, perfect for exploring the city & a 10 minute walk to the bus station & beach. Would definitely stay again.
