Great experience! The customer service was exceptional!

Following 4 hours plus at Barcelona Airport trying to locate one of our cases British Airways did not deliver we arrived at the Lamaro hotel. It was initially difficult for the taxi driver to find but we got there in the end . Once there everything was wonderful . The positives ; Room , was clean and had all amenities required. Including Bvlgari products in the bathroom. Stafff , all excellent , professional and friendly. Eva on reception really tried hard to locate our missing case .She was a total delight to deal with . Location , just across from the cathedral.Easy walk to shops and restaurants . Fab Tapas bar just across the road from hotel., Taverna Del Bisbe . Breakfast , outstanding with good Prosecco served . Also you can order fresh eggs from the kitchen . Roof top bar , Wow what views of the cathedral , great cocktails , music and of course staff. Mini Bar , this is included in rate with a great variety of drinks. Concierges , All extremely helpful . Morning we Checked out was very busy as many cruise ships in port . Concierge organised a taxi with no issues . Only negatives were small and infrequent lifts. Also TV in room was complicated to operate . We would most definitely recommend this hotel and would return hopefully in better circumstances . We eventually received our case a good few days later whilst on. Silversea Cruise. 😍

Definitely not a five star hotel probably a lower end four star hotel. We had booked suites but were given small sub standard rooms, when we questioned this we were told it was a suite as it had a chair and a table in the room please see our photos. There are no wall decorations or pictures, no pens pads or any other associated utilities associated with a five star hotel probably hotel. A poor table as a dressing table with no mirrors only mirror in the room was inside the wardrobe door please see photos. The roof top bar is average with poor service and try to close early and make you feel awkward 30mins before closing and refuse drinks. No alternative bar after 11:00pm. Breakfast is an average three to four star buffet Made mistakes on booking our taxis by booking them for the airport not the attractions we booked resulting in us missing our pre paid guided tour, refused to compensate us.

Beautiful hotel, and our room was very comfortable. We didn't have much of a view, but we spent little time in the room, so it didn't matter. The rooftop restaurant had a great view of the Cathedral directly across the way, and the food was amazing! The staff were good, arranging a taxi was a bit of a snag but a lot of cruise lines were coming and going so the taxis were hard to grab which was not the hotel's fault. The bellboy/guy actually walked over a couple of blocks to catch a taxi so we wouldn't be late for the cruise!

What a beautiful 5 star hotel right in the middle of the gothic quarter. Rooftop over looking the cathedral. Amenities were great, rooms were spacious, staff was very friendly. We could walk to everything! This place was recommended by a friend and we were so pleased with it. They also made us feel extra special since it was our honeymoon! We will be back!
