Hotel Rialto

Vynikající úklid, denně mění i ručníky. Výborné snídaně, rozhodně se vyplati! Teplé, studené, sladké, slané, velký výběr, cava, fresh. V centru. Jen jsme měli problém s topením, ale rychle opravili. Balkón sice do ulice, ale hluk z ulice nebyl skoro slyšet. Doporučuji!

Nice reception, clean nice room. Small bathroom/shower, but great location in the city. If you're over 250 pounds that shower situation would be difficult.

Hotel Rialto, Carrer De Ferran 40 is located fantastically 200 meters on foot from the Las Ramblas. 2km by foot to Parc Montjuïc teleferico(cable car to Castell de Montjuïc). 2.5 km 3.5 km by foot to Sagrada Familia. 450m from Palau Güell(One of Gaudí’s masterpieces. The breakfast buffet is better than anything you could expect fresh fruit, yoghurt juice and even champagne.

This is a very nice hotel in the Gothic district. Rooms are comfortable, service is excellent and the complimentary breakfast is fantastic! There are stairs though, so if mobility is an issue be aware there are multiple stairs to the breakfast room and on some guest floors. There is an elevator to get to the different levels but then a few stairs down in the hallways. Staff are very professional and extremely helpful. Great location, close to everything.

Do not risk your health or your sanity at Hotel Rialto. During a recent stay in June, we arrived at our assigned room and found a massive, active bed bug infestation right on the bed. I have attached a photo of the bed bug and a photo of the bed for reference so you can see which hotel I am talking about. You'll note that the bed bug was visible even on top of the sheets, which is insane. It was also very fat—clearly, it was well fed. We took undeniable photographic proof and walked out on the spot. The reception staff showed zero understanding of basic sanitation. Their only immediate alternative was to cram both of us into a single-bed room, which would have forced us into a confined space and guaranteed cross-contamination of our clean belongings. Later, administration flat-out lied, claiming they offered us a transfer to a sister hotel—this never happened. To top off the nightmare, the hotel is actively trying to justify keeping our money by claiming the insects were simply "humidity bugs." A simple Google image search completely obliterates this lie. We are fully aware we face an uphill battle to get a refund, but our priority now is public safety. The hotel is keeping that room open to unsuspecting tourists without professional treatment, putting everyone at risk. Do yourself a massive favor: even if it means paying a bit more or staying further from the center, book anywhere else. We have officially reported them to the Barcelona Public Health Authorities. You have been warned!
