I will start with the positives as sadly there were negatives. Firstly massive shout out to all the staff who clearly work extremely hard. They wouldn't need to work so hard if they had more staff! I would be happy to pay an extra £50 per week each and it would benefit the hotel. Im not sure the hotel is actually managed properly and certainly not to a standard where pride is on show. Food, excellent. Could not fault it. I don't eat fish and fish does feature often but at no point did I or my 4 year old think oh its chips again. Ive stayed in 5 star places where food was not as good with so much variety. Pools and waterpark again excellent and hours of fun. Though there are a few areas where additional maintenance is needed and hopefully they do over the winter months. Entertainment, not bad at all really. Our 4 year old obviously loves the mini disco but as the night went on it was not bad either. Also the gardens are very well presented and clean and tidy. Cleaning. Its clean enough in most areas not ideal having bar staff clearing up spills as takes them away from bars so a few extra cleaners needed as it adds pressure on all staff. Though I will say rooms need additional deep cleans rather than daily. Then thats where the hotel let's itself down..... Premium rooms are not really Premium at all. These are updated rooms though still have the original windows and doors/shutters fitted. However we specifically booked a dated one bedroom apartment for our personal sleeping arrangements and needs. We were put in a premium room so open plan sleeping. When I said we had the wrong room both the hotel and jet2 rep said no we have upgraded you. I didn't want an upgrade but after spending one night in one of these rooms hope they upgrade the rest to this standard. The hotel would then probably be 4 star! The dates rooms, ours exactly 2 broken sockets, about 10 damaged floor/lifting tiles, nail sticking out the wall where a picture was. And the 3 hanging pictures on the walls exactly the same. Attention to detail zero, walls textured so hard to clean and wardrobes full of cobwebs down sides and back. Maintenance is also a real cause for concern with light fittings taped up and 20 shades of magnolia on walls. Its like the owners fell out of love with it 20 years ago, I hope they read this and act, they are sat on a goldmine (literally) just needs investment, focus and direction. I would consider staying here again in the future. Obviously this review wouldn't be so long had our room of been right from the start. A place with so many positives but the few negatives really do let it down. And I would not book with Jet2 again.

Unsure why people have an issue with this hotel. Situated near the stunning old town of Altea (definitely recommended a visit) and the lively Benidorm, there is plenty of shops restaurants and bars within walking distance, can’t fault the location. As a bit of a foodie, there is a diverse range of freshly cooked food in the restaurant with freshly squeezed OJ available at breakfast. Additionally, with a full range of fast foods in the snack bar, ice cream and out door themed evening meals. The bbq was a family favourite of ours. Plenty of sun-beds and chairs available throughout the day and never queued for more than five to ten minutes for a drink, during peak times. The pool was cool enough to refresh, but definitely not cold. The rooms are fit for purpose and the aircon worked a treat. We had a couple of snags in the room, but after reporting at reception, these were fixed within the hour. Overall a very good place to stay.
Been here 2 days unfortunately got 8 more days togo. Cupboard draws hanging off floor tiles letting up rooms al like stepping back in to 1950s food wise burger chips hot dog chips chicken nuggets chips pizza. Go out of complex an there's nothing. Only good thing I can say is entertainment is good for kids. If you like butlins this place is for leave your kids todo want the want while everyone just for gets about am an gets drunk all day all night. 3 star no chance ad struggle to give 2 star honestly. I never leave reviews but I paid over 4k an would not of paid half roll on home time.
From the minute we got to the hotel when the weekly foam party was on, what a great atmosphere! The kids loved dancing in the pool, really lively and it was like this in the daytime every day full of different activities for young to older children. Our ten year old joined in with the teen activities and absolutely loved it. Room was spacious and added bonus of having a little kitchen if you need it, we were all inclusive so didn’t need to. Beds were really comfortable and all slept well, in till 10am most days! I booked the premium room. Although some of it still dated like in the pics the beds were fine and having space in the room was great. Good air con which was needed! Nice little balcony too. We usually got a sunbed at around 10am to the back of the pool on the grass area no problem. More space here as well. Food options were minimal but everything they had tasted fresh and warm, different themes every night too. Wine, cava and beer was good . They definitely need a self serve for your general soft drinks and wines/ beers. The queueing system does let the hotel down. Night time entertainment wasn’t great, the atmosphere in the daytime was much better so we made the most of that! The highlight of kids holiday was the pool being open until midnight so they went night swimming while we sat next to the pool. There’s a supermarket straight across the road if you are self catering it offers a good selection of food and drinks. Waterpark area is great!! Kids absolutely loved the slides and we enjoyed the big ones too. I would say the pool area does seem small for the size of the hotel, pools were really rammed full at all points of the day- plus the sunbeds are really uncomfortable.
