Albir Playa Hotel & Spa

JUst got back from a short 3 night stop at this hotel, 2 couples. I would highly recommend this hotel, very clean, staff very welcoming and very helpful. We had a delux room which had every thing we needed, and was cleaned daily while we was there, we only went bed and breakfast, and i am a fussy eater but i always found food i liked. The pool outside there was plenty of beds to use. The bar its self there is very well priced as well. we was all from the UK and we all said we would 100% use this hotel again. Its also in a good location of bars and restuarants, about a 15 min walk to the sea front, well unless we took the long route.

Lovely stay the first 5 days - lovely and quiet stayed from the 16th too the 23rd of may the the last two days were horrendous Then kids ruined the peace, Wee,ing in pools, dive bombing and lilos in the pool despite there being signs saying not too - running around pools despite signs saying not too and screaming and shouting despite signs saying not too - Spoke too the receptionist on yesterday about it and i just got told ‘Kids are allowed here’ and ‘its up too the parents too tell them off’ What would of been helpful was her saying ‘il go speak too the parents and ask them too ask the kids too keep the noise down and stop messing in the pools’ Its not great treatment too a paying guest! Also asked about seeing the spa too see iff we wanted to go in, and got told point blank No and too look on internet She was extremely rude! Also the FREE internet Never worked the whole time Id recommend some staff training and a lifegaurd round the pool, We chose this week because kids should of still been in school and it should of been quiet!

Another week at this hotel Lovely relaxed atmosphere, pool area beautiful, everything you need especially breakfast , the choice is wonderful, something for everyone Welcomed with a bottle of wine on ice in our room Thank you again

Was so so close to a clean sweep of 5☆s, just felt there should have been tea & coffee in the room or at least bottled water & maybe some clothes hooks in the bathroom. Don't let this put you off as we're talking about perfection. Would 100 % recommend to family & friends.

What a shame third stay and definitely wouldn’t return, on check in not even a hello 🤷🏻‍♀️ key card didn’t work at least 12 times and when on 3 floor not ideal, card was kept in my pocket away from phone, etc. Booked an early breakfast on last morning which was cereal and nothing else, mean! Reception was in darkness at 6am 🤷🏻‍♀️ staff didn’t feel the need to put lights on. Definitely not a 4 star hotel anymore, hotel was dirty, tatty and unloved, staff were miserable and lazy, no management were seen during our stay
