Firstly this is overall a good hotel, great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, they try and cater for English breakfast lovers, but the sausage, bacon and mushrooms (garlic) didn't really fit the bill, but they tried. The room I had, 309, was a single and whilst it was spotlessly clean with a great shower, the room itself was tiny and quite dark. No balcony, just a view of the opposite wall, about 6 feet in front of me, this affected the lighting. 2nd night was really noisy with a couple in the room next to me banging really loudly up and down the stairs for about 4 hours. This is very near the reception and they must have heard this but never reacted. The corridors are all tile, so makes for an echo chamber. Other than that we did enjoy our stay and, like I said, the staff were all very nice.

*Pros* Clean and contemporary hotel Great location Wonderful reception staff Fantastic powerful shower Proper black out curtains WiFi was good and consistent Kids watched YouTube when getting ready and no issues there *Cons* Didn’t sleep well at all, woke up from 6am every morning, bin wagons, work men, jack hammers going off, stihl saws, men shouting over to each other talking, diggers right outside our room when I looked out in the morning and then there’s a school right across so kids making their way to school and lots of noise - obviously this out of the control of the hotel but be very mindful of it, this was very single morning, we got used to it and because the room was so dark we could still keep on chilling until 9am or so but yes it was literally like we were sleeping in the middle of a building site There was also lots of noise on the corridor and doors being slammed, cleaning trolleys along the corridor etc We were bed & breakfast, we aren’t fussy usually but this wasn’t very satisfactory and despite being B&B we ate out most mornings, which was disappointing However, we made the best of our holiday and I guess we got good value for money but wouldn’t want to be staying any longer than we did due to lack of sleep and comfort Sorry just our honest review and we love Benidorm, I’ve stayed in the old town loads and am aware that there’s always a bit of noise but this was next level

Situated in the old town we expected abit of noise, but we had one night out of 4 where we actually slept through. If it wasn’t for people walking home or bar to bar, it was the workman outside digging up the road, the school children screeching or the bin men. If that was in January, then the summer months are going to be worse for noise. The hotel itself is clean and basic. Fridge provided but no kettle or facilities to make a tea or coffee. Beds were firm, the pillow was not nice. The heater worked well. The tv didn’t work too well, very static at times. Hairdryers you have to ask at reception for. Bathroom felt dated with a shower over the bath. Balcony door did not lock and only one chair on the balcony as it was so small. Even though we had requested a room with a balcony. You’d expect 2 chairs and a table. Unfortunately we wouldn’t return due to the noise, the firm beds and the pillow.

Clean and comfortable and in a great location for the Old Town and beach. Rooms and facilities are basic but that’s reflected in the price. The bar was closed when we stayed and no coffee making facilities in the room, this meant a trip out for the vital first coffee of the day, which is a bit of a pain. Also the room safes are “rented” separately which is also a pain could just put a few euros on the bill per night and include this basic facility rather than have to go to reception and bugger about!
