SH Villa Gadea

Stayed for a week, beautiful hotel and facilities very clean throughout and very peaceful comfortable room. We had a fabulous room very comfortable with lots of storage. Unfortunately the housekeeping was very poor, on two occasions the room was not serviced despite us being out most of the day. We had to ask for it to be done. When it was done the bins were not always emptied and the bed not made properly it was left untidy, no fresh towels on one occasion. Not 5 star standard. Pool areas really lovely clean, quiet alway plenty of beds available. Pool bar but no poolside service which I would except from 5 star. The location is lovely with a couple of bars and restaurants locally also a ten min walk to tram which we found really good. We ate two nights in the hotel the food was good, breakfast was rather Average. Spa was fabulous Overall lots of like about this hotel but it’s not 5 star service or food unfortunately

Lovely hotel. Fantastic breakfast, very clean, super pool area, nice room, lovely bar. Highly recommend! Only issue I have is with TUI. They published one hour coach transfer and it took two hours. Despite complaining they did nothing on the return journey which took 1.5 hours. Would 100% return to the Hotel. Would not recommend TUI.

Love this hotel and great if you want some peace and quiet. Second time here but for a week rather than a long weekend. Yes, it does mean quite a few cabs to get everywhere but although the old town is stunning, we found the promenade along the beach this time (in Altea) with lots of restaurants and good reasonable food. Did try the buffet dinner in the hotel which is very good and worth going to if you can’t be bothered to go anywhere. The drinks are a little expensive but there’s a supermarket just a few minutes walk from the hotel to stock up on water and a few drinks for the room. Will keep coming back but are finding out a few more things each time to make the trip more enjoyable. The staff on the hotel can’t do enough for you and make us feel that any issue, they’ll sort.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at SH Villa Gadea! The hotel is beautiful, located in a fantastic setting right by the Mediterranean Sea, with stunning views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious, elegant, spotless, and very comfortable. The gardens, pools, and common areas are beautifully maintained and create the perfect environment for a relaxing holiday. The staff deserve a special mention — everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, always making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was also excellent, with plenty of variety and very good quality. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable holiday on the Costa Blanca! A beautiful hotel and a fantastic experience from beginning to end. ❤️🌊☀️☀️☀️

Beautiful hotel with great, attentive staff. Loved the pools (3 outdoor, 1 indoor) and swim up bar. Plenty of sunbeds and access to the beach. Most rooms have a seaview and views of Altea in the distance. We stayed half board and would recommend as only a few places to eat within walking distance. The buffet style menu was varied and the food was of a very high quality, with a chef on hand for freshly cooked options. As stated the hotel is on outskirts of Altea so would need a car or taxi to get about, but with tennis courts, spa onsite and access to the beach with waterspouts available, you might find you don't wander too far. The rooms are well thought out, well serviced and with the facilities you would expect for 5 stars. We had a brilliant stay and would return and highly recommend.
