H10 Croma Malaga

Had a lovely stay for 4 nights in the excellent H10 Croma in Malaga. From arrival to departure all the staff were exceptional, professional and friendly. We had a very spacious and good size room with a fantastic balcony overlooking Malaga and the Cathedral (Room 718). The room was kept very clean and tidy each day by the excellent House keeping team. Breakfast at the hotel was good with plenty of choice and freshly cooked eggs of your choice . There is also a very nice Roof Top Bar with friendly and attentive staff. The swimming pool on the roof top terrace is pretty shallow but alright for cooling off. All together a really nice break.

Visited the hotel in July with my daughter and very much enjoyed the experience. The hotel is in an excellent location for enjoying a city break. Everything is within walking distance. I would recommend using the train from airport. It is cheap and very convenient. The hotel is a short walk from the station. The hotel itself is modern and very clean. The public spaces are beautiful. We had a standard room and it had everything we needed. It was nice to have a balcony and appreciated the hotel accommodating a request for a higher room with twin beds. I would agree with some other reviews that mention that some balconies don’t have a glass front making it impossible to enjoy any view when seated. The suggestion of providing a high table with chairs in these rooms was a good one. However, for us it wasn’t a deal breaker. We still enjoyed using the balcony for an early morning coffee and early evening drink. The staff were all very friendly and a credit to the hotel. We enjoyed the beautiful roof top terrace, which is the standout feature of the hotel. The views are spectacular and we always had excellent service. It does get crowded during the day and it was difficult to find somewhere to sit. However, this again wasn’t a dealbreaker. We weren’t visiting Malaga to sunbathe, but I can understand why some would find this frustrating. In the evening there was always somewhere to sit in the bar area and it was a lovely atmosphere. Malaga at night is breathtaking. We enjoyed food the first night which was very pleasant and drinks throughout our stay. There are cheaper places to eat and drink in Malaga, but hard to better the view and ambience. It wasn’t extortionate. I would recommend the hotel without reservation and look forward to returning at some point, this time with my husband.

This is a stylish hotel, located not too far from the centre of the old town. The rooms benefit from a ceiling fan meaning we didn't use the aircon, they are also super quiet and dark, we slept well. The complementary bottles of water provided each day was also a nice touch. An extra mirror and some wall hooks close to the shower would be an improvement. The breakfast buffet is plentiful staffed by a great team. The rooftop bar and pool area is a real bonus and we used it alot, note there are only deckchairs, no loungers and the pool only comes up to your knees. We stayed in room 815, which was classed as a high up room with a cathedral view which we paid extra for. It was on the top floor however the balcony had solid walls not glass so we had a zero view when sitting on the chairs; suggestion to hotel, perhaps replace with high table and stools instead. Rooms 814-818 all had these balconies. Our friends were in 711 and had a clear glass balcony, their view which was much better albeit not of the cathedral.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and had the best experience and would definitely recommend it to others. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with a friendly helpful staff and a glass of Cava. As we had not visited the area before Sergio spent time showing our location on a map and showing places of interest and recommending numerous places to eat. The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of the main centre with cathedral and not far to marina with the beach behind. Also near transport links buses, trains etc. Lots of places to eat and the market is only next door. We eat on the roof terrace one evening and the food was excellent. With great views. The hotel breakfast with and excellent buffet spread which was constantly being replenished. There were more hot choices on the menu on the table. With great friendly service. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious, modern and very clean. Housekeeping visited the room twice a day to replenish drinks and make beds. They even turned down the beds in the evening and left sweets. We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and they even left a bottle of chilled cava in the room for us. In all a great stay and hope to go back.

To begin with the entire staff was very friendly, helpful and gracious. The hotel was very nicely appointed and clean. Breakfast was included and was plentiful as well as delicious. The rooftop bar and pool were so nice to relax at. Highly recommended.
