The best review I can leave is to say that I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying at this hotel if I visit Malaga again. I loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked through the front doors into the spacious foyer. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Facilities were everything you would expect and more. I particularly liked the roof top bar and pool which gave great views across Malaga

Our five-night stay at H10 Croma Málaga (19–24 July 2026) as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 12) was genuinely excellent and comfortably exceeded our expectations. As one of Málaga's newer hotels, everything feels fresh, modern and immaculately maintained, creating a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Although H10 Croma is very much a city hotel rather than a resort, it offers enough facilities to make returning after a morning of sightseeing something to look forward to. During the hot July afternoons, we often returned to the hotel at around 2 pm to cool off in the rooftop pool before heading back out later in the day, which quickly became part of our daily routine and was a welcome escape from the summer heat. We stayed in the Family Suite, which was exceptional and ideal for a family of four. The room was incredibly spacious, with two large, comfortable beds, a huge modern bathroom and two balconies that made the suite feel even more open. The design was contemporary without sacrificing practicality, and there was more than enough space for luggage and for everyone to relax comfortably. Housekeeping maintained the room to an excellent standard throughout our stay, with the suite cleaned thoroughly every day and always presented beautifully when we returned. Breakfast was another highlight of the hotel. The buffet offered a wide selection of hot and cold options including hash browns, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, breads, made-to-order omelettes and much more, meaning there was genuinely something for everyone. As vegetarians, we were especially impressed by the breakfast team, who went above and beyond by preparing additional vegetarian dishes specifically for us rather than simply relying on the buffet selection. This level of personal service made a real difference and showed genuine attention to guests' individual needs. Guests can also order from the complimentary à la carte breakfast menu, which is included in the stay and adds another level of quality to what is already an excellent breakfast experience. The staff throughout breakfast were consistently friendly, attentive and happy to help. The rooftop terrace is undoubtedly one of the hotel's standout features and quickly became one of our favourite places to spend time. The panoramic views across Málaga are superb, with many of the city's landmarks visible from the top, and it is an especially beautiful place to watch the sunset after a day of sightseeing. During the hot July afternoons, it was lovely returning to the hotel to cool off before heading back out later in the evening. The terrace itself is spacious, modern and well designed, creating a relaxing atmosphere, while the rooftop bar offers a good range of snacks, desserts such as tiramisu, fresh juices, soft drinks and cocktails. However, the rooftop is also where the hotel's main weaknesses become apparent. The pool is only around 70 cm deep, making it excellent for cooling off but simply too shallow for anyone hoping to swim properly. Families with younger children will probably appreciate this, but older children, teenagers and adults looking for a proper swim may find it disappointing. It is best thought of as a plunge pool rather than a swimming pool. The rooftop bar is another area where prices are noticeably high. Although the quality is very good, paying between €6 and €12 for a single drink, snack or dessert quickly adds up, meaning we rarely used it despite enjoying the setting. Finally, while the terrace itself is generously sized, there could certainly be more loungers and seating available, particularly during peak afternoon hours when the best spots are occupied quickly. The fitness room is relatively small but well presented, clean and modern. It includes a treadmill and enough equipment for a simple workout, making it perfectly adequate for a city break. Guests looking for a large, fully equipped gym similar to those found in beach resorts, however, may find it somewhat limited. It serves its purpose well, but it is certainly one of the hotel's more modest facilities. Without doubt, the hotel's greatest strength is its location. Quite simply, it is one of the best locations you could ask for when visiting Málaga. Throughout our entire stay we never once needed a taxi, bus or train, despite travelling with two children. Almost every major attraction, including the historic centre, Málaga Cathedral, the marina, museums, restaurants and shopping streets, can be reached within approximately 10 to 15 minutes on foot. Even Malagueta Beach is only around a 20-minute walk away. Having El Corte Inglés just a few minutes away is extremely convenient for shopping, while the Carrefour supermarket directly outside the hotel entrance proved invaluable for buying bottled water, snacks and anything else we needed throughout the day. For families, the convenience of being able to walk everywhere cannot be overstated. In our opinion, four nights is the ideal length of stay, as it provides enough time to experience virtually everything Málaga has to offer without feeling rushed. There are only a handful of negatives worth mentioning. The rooftop pool is too shallow for proper swimming, the rooftop bar is expensive enough that many guests may choose not to use it regularly, the gym is fairly compact, and the rooftop could benefit from additional seating during busier periods. The in-room televisions also do not support Chromecast or straightforward screen casting from mobile devices. Netflix is available, but you will need your own account to use it, so it is worth bringing your login details if you plan on watching films in the evenings. Overall, H10 Croma Málaga is an outstanding city hotel that excels where it matters most: spacious and comfortable accommodation, exceptional cleanliness, an excellent breakfast, attentive staff and, above all, an unbeatable location. It strikes an excellent balance between luxury and practicality, making it an ideal choice for families, couples and anyone wanting to explore Málaga entirely on foot. We left thoroughly impressed and would return without hesitation. If the rooftop pool were deeper, the rooftop bar a little more reasonably priced, a few extra loungers were added and Chromecast was available in the rooms, it would be extremely difficult to fault. As it stands, H10 Croma Málaga remains one of the finest city hotels we have stayed in and is one we would confidently recommend to anyone visiting Málaga.

Fab 5 night stay in the centre of the city! Easy reach to everything including market, old town and train station. Staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating, rooms and full hotel spotless. Lovely touches such as some little chocolates and leaving gifts. I would certainly return and look at staying at H10 in the future. Roof top bar is a must when staying here!

Fantastic hotel and amazing staff. The location was excellent and the food also excellent.

Had a lovely short break at this hotel. When we first arrived we were greeted by friendly Sergio and the team at reception. We were offered a glass of cava to start our stay which was appreciated. Hotel is a great location as old town, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We stayed during the Feria de Malaga so was a great atmosphere in the city. We had a lovely junior suite which had a bottle of Cava waiting for us in the room on arrival. We were a group of friends celebrating our big Birthdays! The rooftop pool, bar and restaurant offered a relaxing end to the day with beautiful views over Malaga and stunning sunsets. The breakfast buffet selection was delicious and you could also order various dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel ( I am a travel agent( and hopefully will be back again.
