La Zambra

We booked a Junior Suite through American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts, which listed a king bed and sofa. This reasonably suggested it could accommodate our family with two children. At check-in, we were told it could not and were required to pay for a second room. Traveling internationally with our kids, this was not a real choice and resulted in a significant unexpected cost. This was not presented clearly at booking and felt like a forced upsell rather than an upgrade. We also observed another family of four staying in a similar room, which made the situation even more confusing. The hotel has since declined to resolve the issue. Nice property overall, but be very careful with room occupancy details to avoid unexpected charges.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at La Zambra. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated . The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at both the restaurants and a snack in the bar and all were excellent. Breakfast was amazing with everything to suit all tastes. The room was large and airy with a large bathroom. The shower was excellent and all toiletries were very nice. The grounds and pools are immaculate. It was very pleasant to relax on the sun bed with a beautiful view of the mountains, we hope to return . TThe The room was luxurious and outside spaces are beautiful with lovely views towards the mountains. There are plenty of sun beds and the pools are quite big. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to return.

Great location, very helpful staff try to make guest as comfortable as much they can , great breakfast wide selection select from buffet or at table order . I would stay again if visting same area.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing staff and lovely facilities. The views of the golf course are fantastic. We was away celebrating my daughters 18th and the surprise cakes in our her topped off a fantastic stay. We will be back..!

We came nearly 2 years ago, and loved it so much that we returned just now. The experience was just as wonderful, and we most certainly return again. The design of the hotel is superb, the facilities are excellent, and apart from a couple of Breakfast waiters, I would describe the service as impeccable. The concierge was excellent, as were the reception staff and the bell boys.
