San Fermin by Dorobe

I was here for 5 days and had an amazing stay. Rooms are clean, breakfast and dinner has a large selection of different type of food, and the pool is great. There is also big space to lay down in the sun around the pool if you wish to stay at the hotel. They offer massage as well, and I used it twice during my stay. The massage therapist is understanding of your needs, and you feel that she really takes care of you. Amazing, really calming massage with good prices, 10/10 recommend!

This hotel could be much better than it is on arrival felt it was a decent 3 star hotel ,garden area grounds pool were very nice and very well maintained loved how relaxed it was listening to the birds tweeting away in the palm trees above us . Until 3 of the days of the week we were there there was 3 very large stag nights which completely wasted what could have been a lovely chilled holiday as they advertised the hotel as as layed back with little or no entertainment certainly wasnt expecting to have loads of drunk men ranging from late 30s to late 60s as our entertainment ! rooms were ok but our room wasn't cleaned my feet were filthy of the floor one of the days the bed wasnt even made would say size of room was adequate but on the small side, so for the stag night reason we wouldn't go back it's a pitty as this is what let it down? and at the pool bar the queus were really long definitely not enough staff

Stayed here from 6-13 June and had a great time. The hotel is in a good location as you can easily walk down to the beach or up towards Arroyo de la Miel area and it was quiet at night. Only 25 mins in a taxi from the airport so ideal location. The hotel is bright and spacious and the 2 pools were spotless. Always managed to get a sunlounger although some were broken and would only lie flat. I did see new loungers arriving so it looks like they are getting replaced. I tried the gym but only once as the air conditioning does not work there - I lasted 45 mins then admitted defeat! Shame as it does have potential. The food in the restaurant was excellent, great variety. I am a vegetarian and always managed to find numerous items to eat. Food was replaced quickly when it was running low. Our room was in block B on the 4th floor and was bright and spacious. The walk in shower was very powerful, thoroughly enjoyed it. There were quite a few scuff marks on the walls and a hole in the ceiling by the door which let it down slightly. Air con was fabulous. The WiFi was very poor and so intermittent it became funny, it does need looked at. I did enjoy my stay here and do recommend the hotel. Not sure if I would return though as I found Benalmadena has gone downhill from previous trips and the streets around the hotel were filthy. Shame as the hotel is decent.

Just returned from 4 night stay 8 - 12 June. Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Communal areas very clean. Great pool area with plenty sun loungers for everyone and pool towels if you need them. Very chilled atmosphere. We didn't pay extra for pool view but I did email ahead and ask for a room with a pleasant view and afternoon sun. We were on floor 3 of block B which faced onto trees, rooftops and mountains. Room was modern and comfortable with good facilities. We were room only so cant comment on food but what we could see on walking past the restaurant it looked very good. All in all a great hotel in good location close to beach, Bonanza Square, and 10 minute walk to Marina. Would definitely recommend.
