Bonito Ibiza by NCALMA Hotels

Let me start with the good of this hotel. The place is set out great with two pools and bar and restaurant. Upstairs pool bar/ nighttime Mexican restaurant. Poolside dj. Great friendly helpful staff at reception. Great for cleaning the room. Now the bad. The place is chaos. It’s a party hotel. Never been in such a noisy hotel. I’m talking non stop. Even the staff mouthing off at 4 in the morning getting the breakfast bar ready. On check in you get a free drink but it’s chaotic.They take a €500 deposit on your credit card for any damage to the room which I did get back a few days after the holiday. People coming and going. Staff all over the place. Went into the bar until check in and was all good drinking service hit and miss to be honest it felt like pulling teeth trying to get served at times. Got in the room. Room is set out where you walk through the bathroom to the bedroom but all good. Great tv. Fridge bed comfy all clean etc but the toilet is the smallest toilet Iv seen and in a room which felt like a cupboard. Wondering if it was a design fault. That was Friday. Next onto Saturday we ordered room service the breakfast. Various phone calls. We don’t understand English etc we thought after an hour it wasn’t happening so went out for breakfast. On return the breakfast was sat in the room ice cold. No worries. Then a day of drinking in the bar. Same again service was ok hit and miss then after a bit of rain and the pool opening forget getting served. The girl we asked said she was busy and walked past us another 4 times. We decided to go out instead. At night tried the bar again. Stood waiting like a plumb no service so left again. Waste of time. Sunday we tried the breakfast in the restaurant/bar which was good but same again absolutely chaotic people all over the place. Ques all over. We went to o beach that day so that took care of itself. Monday we tried the rooftop bar which is meant to open at 11 but was about 15 minutes after some other Poole had to complain. No bar was open. Some staff still folding towels up no seats ready. It had been a storm over night though so this might be why. Was very small to be honest and obviously nothing to drink so hung about for 15 minutes and left. They did let us have late check out to 4pm free of charge which was great. So in all it was good and bad Iv nicknamed it the bi polar hotel. Costs a lot of money for average experience due to the staff in the bar and restaurant basically.

Upon arrival we found just one person on reception, was very chaotic and when a second receptionist arrived we were over looked, acknowledgement goes along way. Sat at the bar and again, waved to the waitress only to be told she was busy with someone else! Fine I get that but not so much as I’ll come back or I’ll send a colleague! Room was spacious, beds comfy, however don’t come if you’re wanting some quiet, a rather noisy hotel Overall I have to say I won’t be returning Lasting thoughts, felt over looked, poor service and rude!

Kevin the waiter by the pool was amazing

Hotel is excellent. Very clean and relaxing. Room is spacious. Service was great especially Kevin who was super helpful. Would recommend
