Grupotel Imperio Playa

V pokoji byl horší úklid, neutíral se prach a za jeden týden nebylo vyměněné povlečení. Předposlední den chybělo tekuté mýdlo. Jídlo bylo výborné a obsluha byla na vysoké úrovni. Při příjezdu byla po nás požadována platební karta, kterou si okopírovali a to se nám nelíbilo. H.

Stunning view overlooking the bay and in an idyllic setting. The accommodation was cleaned daily/beds made and having stayed in the same room for 3 years running, standards have been maintained! The beds were a little on the hard side and cupboard and bedside space is limited for a couple. There is also no tea or coffee facilities but take a travel kettle and it isn't a problem. Front of house and catering staff are always very helpful and professional, and booking in was quick and simple despite us being early. There is no evening entertainment for which we were grateful but you can hear the sister-hotel's next door if you feel deprived. Also being above the outside restaurant, guests were noisy until the early hours one evening! Food-wise I'm not sure it was the best but the catering staff worked hard and provided a variety of reasonable fare. The cold fresh-water pool was a welcome contrast to the heat and the temperature of the sea but probably not very suitable for families looking for an activity based holiday. The view and location more than make up for any negatives for couples though hence one of our favourite places to stay.

Beautiful location. Lovely hotel staff. Great fresh water pool at the hotel. Beach great for swimming and snorkelling. Excellent restaurants.

So good, there was so much variety of food, a pool, the beach, only thing that wasn’t very good was the wifi. I got 12l ping once lol. Everything else is crazy good

The hotel is literally 4 steps away from the beach. The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet but we were there towards end of September when things quieten down. The staff were very friendly, approachable, efficient and polite. The hotel was very clean throughout. The housekeeping was very efficient. The restaurant staff again super efficient to the point you had to mark your table as they cleared the table while you choosing your next courses and ready to set up for new diners. The rooms were a good size though the layout could have been better. The gap between the bottom of the bed and the unit was so small only one of you could walk through and you ended up dancing with your partner and the wardrobe door. Beds very comfy probably one of the best I have slept in. The bathroom however. It was clean and modern but the shower was in the bath which is normal but you had to climb in the end of the bath and the way the actual tub is shaped made it a bit tricky to get in and out without holding on and being extra careful. If anybody has mobility issues double check with the hotel direct to see if they can meet your needs and have rooms with a better set up. No iron or drink making facilities-kettle etc. The air-con worked. There is a safe and you have to pay extra for the lock and key (and I do mean literally the lock). The hotel is in a very quiet resort with some great restaurants. We were on bed and breakfast so we ate out most nights. The evening buffet was ok and value for money €30each. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and catered for everyone. The snack bar was good but only open from 12 till 3. The swimming pool was small and the get your sunbed first' crowd were there which is entertaining to watch. The hotel offers a free beach towel loan service which was great and they loaned us a beach parasol. There was no hotel entertainment at all, there was a stage but nothing on it. Probably not best suited for families who want to be entertained and have suitable activities. All in all I would recommend the hotel but be mindful it is a very small resort and 8 km to the nearest resort Figurel and 15 to the busy Santa Ellulia. Buses do run but not very often. Car hire worked better or us and the hotel organised this for us as we found not many car hire companies came to the hotel..we would have to pay for a taxi to pick the car up. Same with excursions we would have had to pay extra to get to the pick up point. So we hired a car and did our own thing.
