Great Stay at Hyde Ibiza We had a fantastic stay at Hyde Ibiza. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, and the views from our room overlooking the pools and beach were amazing. The air conditioning was excellent and really made the room comfortable.The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. There are multiple pools to choose from, which was a great bonus, and breakfast had a fantastic variety of choices. Staff are very helpful when it comes to ordering taxis and taxis are there within a few minutes to take you wherever you need to go. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hyde Ibiza for its great location, beautiful views, friendly staff and excellent facilities.

I stayed at the Hyde Hotel in Ibiza a few days ago and honestly, it was perfect from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with welcoming smiles and friendly faces. Everyone was so lovely and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made us feel at home. I’d especially like to say a big thank you to Paco, one of the pool waiters at Hyde. He was incredibly attentive and provided excellent service every time, always with a smile. He really went above and beyond and deserves a special mention! There are so many great things about this hotel, but one of my favourite things has to be the location. The beach is literally on your doorstep! You can access it directly through the hotel and you’re straight onto the most beautiful beach, with amazing blue sea. Our room was beautiful, incredibly clean and had an amazing view overlooking the beach. The air conditioning was also great, which was definitely appreciated in the Ibiza heat! The breakfast was also really good, with such a great variety of choices. There was something for everyone, whether you wanted something light or a bigger breakfast to start the day. It was lovely having so many options to choose from each morning. Overall, we had a 5-star stay and I genuinely couldn’t recommend the Hyde Hotel enough. I would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to come back! 💙

Disappointing stay despite a beautiful location We booked Hyde Ibiza after seeing how beautiful it looked online, particularly its stunning location in a cove away from the main party areas of Ibiza. We had really high expectations, especially as we paid around €1,000 for three nights, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to them. Our first night was extremely disappointing. There was a concert on the beach and the music was blasting until around 1am. We could hear it clearly even with earplugs in, which made it very difficult to sleep. We appreciate that events happen in Ibiza, but this was not what we expected when booking a hotel that appeared to offer a more peaceful location. The room itself was modern and nicely designed, but the air conditioning was extremely poor. We struggled to sleep on our first night because of how warm the room was. After complaining the following day, it took around two hours for maintenance to arrive. The general service was another major disappointment. There always seemed to be queues at reception, despite there being plenty of staff around, and often nobody seemed to be actively helping. When leaving, we had to ask staff to retrieve our luggage ourselves because there was once again a queue and nobody was communicating with us. The lifts were also an issue. There are only two lifts for such a large hotel and during our stay they were frequently not working properly, which resulted in long waits and a lot of frustration. The pools were another disappointment. The hotel heavily advertises its luxury pool and cabanas, but these come at an additional cost of around €170 for the day. When you are already paying a significant amount to stay at the hotel, this felt excessive. The other pools also did not have enough sun loungers, and they felt noticeably less luxurious compared with the pool you had to pay extra for. Breakfast was extremely busy and felt chaotic, almost like a cattle market. If you went later, there seemed to be less food available. On our first morning, we also asked a member of staff where breakfast was and were simply told to “follow the signs”, which was not particularly welcoming or helpful. We were also surprised by the tipping charges. Some food orders included a mandatory 10% service charge online, while even an iced latte that we physically went to collect ourselves came with an optional 10% tip charge that we were not made aware of. This felt unnecessary, particularly given the level of service we experienced. We were also confused about having to pay a deposit when the accommodation had already been paid for in full. Overall, there are definitely positives. The location is beautiful, the hotel is modern and visually very impressive, and I can see why it looks so appealing online. However, for the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of service, comfort and overall experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling that the hotel looked considerably better online than it felt in reality. With the amount we spent, I would have expected a much more seamless and relaxing stay. Sadly, I would not return.

In Ibiza for a couple of nights so wanted to stay somewhere close to a nice beach and restaurants that I know. Lots of pool options and hang out areas. Breakfast fine. Room nice. Quite a big hotel so lots of people around and definitely a bit of early morning sunbed claiming but I like it and would come again. Raquel on reception is charming.

Fantastic stay at Hyde Hotel. Great vibes, super friendly staff, and top‑tier service. Raquel at the front desk deserves special praise - she made everything smooth and welcoming. Would absolutely stay again.
