Romeos Ibiza

Not worth the money. The rooms are very small and there is no full length mirror. The biggest mirror is actually on the ceiling above the bed. The fridge is already stocked and if you take stuff out to use you’re charged so there’s no where cool to put your own drinks, snacks and alcohol. The air con didn’t work properly so the rooms were never completely cool and all 3 of our rooms kept getting an awful foul smell of blocked drainage and poo to the point it actually made my friend throw up one evening. The LED sign above our bed also didn’t work so we had no lighting which meant getting ready in the evening was a nightmare. The pool area is aesthetic with pumped up floats and the staff were nice especially the life guard. The food is nice so if you wanna come here then just come to the restaurant and to use the pool area for a couple hours. Those were the only positives. I’d deffo opt to stay somewhere else next time unless you’re that bothered about having a nice pool with floats. :)

Stayed here this week with 6 of my friends for 3 nights. Hotel receptionist Anna was very friendly, professional and helpful. We arrived 2 hours before check in and she provided a private room to hold our cases while we went for lunch and drinks until the rooms were ready. We also asked Anna to have two rooms beside each other which was not a problem. Rooms were spacious, clean and air con was great. Only a 5 minute walk to water taxi to san an which we used a few times. We had a lot planned during our trip so didn’t have time to spend at the pool or eat in the hotel. Hotel is quite far round the bay but we would still stay here again.

Location location isn’t great, you aren’t anywhere near the main clubs/restaurants/etc. it’s either a taxi or the water taxi to get to the main parts of the island. taxis were really expensive so we took the water taxi which was €5 per person and around a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Atmosphere the hotel is quiet, not very big and very quiet older music playing. pool is lovely but the sunbeds are awful - so springy and you can’t adjust the angle so you’re lying in a really weird position. staff are not great with speaking english which doesn’t bother me but it was hard to get a few things sorted because of this. We only got breakfast and it was okay, sometimes hot and sometimes cold. Room room we had was a suite as there was 3 of us. shower was fantastic and bed was so comfy. however our aircon was absolutely shocking, and when I questioned it I was told that’s just how it is in the bigger rooms. I got 0 sleep the whole time we were there because it was so so hot, so that spoilt it for me unfortunately. They were really clean and our balcony was huge. If anyone is screaming or singing or blasting music in the middle of the night, do not expect them to be told to be quieter. Eventhough there is someone at the desk 24/7, there is no respect for anyone who might already be asleep. Also, you have to pay tax when you get there. Overall; the hotel is nice, clean & cool aesthetic, but because of no aircon, poor breakfasts & a bad location I wouldn’t be returning when I come back to Ibiza.

Fun, 50s Americana design. Great burgers and cocktails all at a reasonable price. The staff can’t do enough for you, so friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely trip!

Wow - amazing hotel fantastic staff - we loved the whole experience at Romeo’s . Travelled as a group of 40 for a 50th birthday ages 18-69 - rooms are brilliant as is the hotel so quirky. We had breakfast everyday made to order - nothing was too much for any of the staff. You get towel cards and no subbed scramble. Very quiet for an Ibiza hotel. Water taxi nearby was €5 each to San Antonio- taxis from hotel €10 much cheaper than Uber . Would love to return the staff all made out 5 day trip so special. Lots of bars nearby that are open very late shops / supermarkets / restaurants
