The Ibiza Twiins

The twiins is an impressive building overlooking the sea with a beach. It’s in a great location walking distance to shops, restaurants. By the side of the hotel is access to the beach and more bars and restaurants with access to the boat that takes you to old town - I throughly recommend this mode of transport. Our room was ok, the bathroom doesn’t have a door so if sharing with a friend who has shy tendencies then you will be sitting outside on the balcony at times. The restaurant for breakfast was lovely, the pool area and bar was a treat with amazing views of the sea.

The hotel we had initially booked was receiving very bad reviews Post floods with some amenities not available. I decided to swap to the Ibiza Twiins a day before and surprisingly in hindsight, I’m glad I had. We were met with two lovely gentlemen on the reception desks and were told we could go straight to our room, (we are mindful it is towards the end of season therefore this was available to us). Our room was decorated nicely, contemporary & clean, all be it a little small as the sofa was being used for a bed for our daughter. We had a side view of the sea & a balcony. The room had a fridge with cans of coke & water. I like to avoid busy months & we found the hotel to be just right with the amount of guests. There was ample sun-beds & no waiting at the pool bar. A little warning, although the pool is quite large, it is unheated. I am a daily swimmer & cold water does not bother me however my husband wouldn’t go in but my daughter did & we had a good time. The buffet all inc restaurant was quiet & all though only a small selection of foods on offer, it was a good quality & hot. Less is more ! Now the entertainment…… hmmmm! We stayed for 3 nights & each evening there was a dance show, the first was “around the world” , Lots of dancing, lightening & music, the second was a “ Cosmos “ show & again it was all put together brilliantly. The 3rd evening was music through the decades, we enjoyed this one the most & sang along to the 80s 90s songs that we were reminded of. The dancing was the same on every show, just choreographed differently. Our reservations were the costumes, we are not prudish in anyway however the skimpy nipple tassels & thongs made us feel a little uncomfortable, these are young girls & are fab dancers but we felt embarrassed to sit there looking at them & im sure mid summer when there are younger guests watching the shows, it goes down better, perhaps we are just middle aged & worry about the girls catching a chill! We are glad we changed hotels & enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here a little get away with the husband good location rooms clean and good size. Lovely pool area. Stayed bed and breakfasts and breakfast was good choice. All round good hotel for a few days in Ibiza.

We stayed at the Twiins end of Sept 25 for my 40th birthday. We arrived at lunchtime and didnt have to wait for our room as it was ready. We stayed in the Joy building the room was small with a balcony, but had everything we needed. The toilet and shower are not closed off they have privacy glass but you can see through so although not a problem for us as a couple if you were staying with friends or teenage kids it may be embarrassing. The beds and pillows were probably the most comfortable I've slept in in a hotel. The cleaners came in daily although 9am was slightly early after a big night out but can can deadbolt the door so they dont come in. Breakfast was amazing and on to 12pm Lunch at the snack bar was lovely. The buffet lunch was nice but the evening meal was OK. The smoothie and coffee bar was amazing too. We were all inclusive so made the most of the cocktails. The pool is huge but very cold, music was ok and the evening show was good but repetitiveas the week went on. There were plenty of sunbeds available up until lunch time. Staff were great but a bit slow this could be as it was approaching end of season. It's a great location for Ushuaia and Hi and a €15 euro taxi to Amnesia and €25/30 to Pikes. We didnt do San An this time but I think it would be €30 plus for a taxi. We were there for the floods on the 30th and cant thank the hotel staff and bus drivers enough for getting us to the airport safely. Gutted that we missed the Red Roses girls that was staying there after we left! I'd definitely go back perfect for groups and couples just not for families x

Visited with my friend and her parents — what a lovely experience! The hotel was peaceful and beautifully kept, with friendly, attentive staff. Plenty of sunbeds and stunning sea views. Shops are nearby, and there’s a taxi rank right outside, making it easy to get around. The big clubs are also within walking distance. We upgraded to VIP a few days in, which was worth it — access to a private pool, separate bar, and complimentary snacks in a gated area. Meals were excellent, especially breakfast (served until noon) and the pool snack bar, where everything was freshly cooked to order. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and convenient getaway!
