W Ibiza

This was our first stay at the W Ibiza, having previously enjoyed stays at the W Barcelona and W Edinburgh, and it certainly lived up to the W brand experience. On arrival, my family and I were warmly welcomed by two members of the reception team who were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the hotel facilities. I had booked two rooms, both of which were very comfortable, well furnished, and a good size. The rooms are positioned in a V-shaped layout, so privacy can be slightly limited, although the electronically controlled canopies are a great addition and help provide extra privacy when required. We booked bed and breakfast, which I would highly recommend. The breakfast experience was excellent — you choose from a menu and everything is freshly prepared and served to your table. There is also the option of complimentary champagne if you want to start the day in true Ibiza style! The rooftop pool and bar looked fantastic, although we spent most of our time at the main pools, which had excellent sunbeds and brilliant poolside service. The daytime DJ created a great atmosphere (apart from Sundays), giving the hotel that relaxed Ibiza vibe without being overwhelming. The ferry to Ibiza Old Town is only around a 5-minute walk away and is definitely worth visiting. A special mention to Sebastian from the management team, who went out of his way to chat with us, check how our holiday was going, and make us feel welcome — a real asset to the W team. Also, Dubi at breakfast, who looked after us most mornings with a warm welcome and excellent service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the W Ibiza. A great hotel, fantastic service, and a perfect base to enjoy the island.

This is our 5th visit here and would always stay here when visiting. Hotel has been upgraded and looks fantastic. Food is great and staff are very helpful and friendly. I cant fault it at all

Very mixed feelings about the W Hotel. The positives: stylish design, very comfortable bedding, a rooftop with a beautiful view, and a pool area with large sunbeds perfect for relaxing. However, we were disappointed by several aspects, and the hotel preferred to ignore our feedback rather than address it. We stayed in room 337, which should absolutely be avoided: strong sewage smells, tiny bathrooms with no ventilation system, and as a “design feature,” a cheap shower curtain that looks like it was bought from a discount store… The breakfast staff were genuinely friendly and were the only real bright spot of the hotel. Unfortunately, the food quality was very disappointing: the Spanish platter came with low-quality cold cuts, the pancakes were reheated in a microwave, and the bakery selection was poor and not fresh. The à la carte concept is a good idea, but the quality of the products really needs to match the standard expected. At €650 per night, I would not recommend the W Ibiza and I will definitely never return. One final piece of advice: do not order cocktails. The staff are completely incompetent — an Aperol Spritz was served like a cheap soda mix, at €16 per glass. Basic training on classic cocktails would be the bare minimum.

The hotel surpassed all our expectations again! The staff were welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in, with all of them introducing themselves to us and always remembering our names throughout the stay. We were given an upgrade and the room was spotlessly clean with the biggest bed we've ever seen, and the view of the town was lovely. The whole hotel has had a revamp and it looks beautiful. Loved the way breakfast is served, with such a good choice and very tasty, by such friendly staff, and we ate here in the afternoon/evening a few times as the food was so good. Couldn't fault anything in this hotel at all, it has a great atmosphere with great music and ambiance. The icing on the cake was 2 of the nicest managers making my husbands dream come true , and letting him DJ in the rooftop bar on our last night. Would say that this is our favourite hotel we have ever visited, and we will definitely be returning very soon.

What a fabulous hotel! We had wonderful 3 nights here in a super-comfortable suite. Everyone so friendly and helpful particularly at breakfast and by the pools. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay at W Ibiza and hope to come soon in the near future.
