Fantastic family stay in a beautiful beachfront location. We travelled as a family of three, including an 8-year-old, and stayed for 11 nights at the end of May. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel. The location is superb—right on the beachfront—which really adds to the whole holiday atmosphere. We stayed in a first-floor room with both sea and pool views, and it was absolutely stunning and well worth it. Our room was located directly above the entertainment area, so there was some noticeable noise between 21:30 and 23:00. This wouldn't suit those who prefer an early night, but for us it was a compromise we were happy to make for such a fantastic view. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. A special mention goes to the restaurant team, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and incredibly hardworking. The entertainment team were also brilliant, and the kids’ club was a big hit with our child. The food exceeded our expectations, with a wide variety of high-quality options available every day. It’s hard to see how anyone could find fault with it. The beef stew was particularly outstanding, and the fresh seafood on selected evenings was a real highlight. Housekeeping was excellent—the rooms were kept very clean, and fresh towels were provided when needed. We really appreciated the hotel’s environmentally conscious approach to reducing unnecessary washing while still maintaining high standards. Pool and beach towels are available for a €10 deposit, with a €1 charge per change, which we felt was a great idea and encouraged more responsible use. The pool area was always immaculate, thanks in particular to the attentive female lifeguard who clearly took great pride in keeping everything clean and well maintained. Although we spent most of our time on the beautiful beach, we also enjoyed several relaxing days by the pool. There is a small sports shop on the beach where you can hire paddleboards for €15 per hour—we did this twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. Port d’Andratx is only a short taxi ride away (around €7) and is definitely worth a visit. The taxi rank is conveniently located just outside the hotel, with a board displaying standard fares to popular destinations. All in all, this was a fantastic family holiday in a beautiful setting. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend both the hotel and the beautiful Camp de Mar.
Staff were amazing, always haply to go ablve and beyond. Clean and friendly. The location is spot on, beach right outside thr hotel.
Stayed for 4 nights, resort is very pretty but very boring, can’t even walk anywhere it is so small. No bars in the resort, just a couple of restaurants. Hotel was too big for what’s offers, pool area very overcrowded small pool for the size of the hotel. Rooms very basic, chairs on the balcony too big for the space. Air conditioning not very good, hardly any cool air coming from it, was still very hot in the room even when it was cranked up to max. Restaurant like a holiday camp canteen, poor quality food, limp salads, same choices every evening, coffee only available breakfast time. Not enough waiting staff, plates left on tables . Bar area understaffed, long queues to get drinks. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel or at this resort again! Would only rate the hotel as a low 3 star.
Fantastic stay! This was our third time staying here and once again we were not disappointed. The rooms offer stunning sea views, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay, always attentive and happy to help with anything we needed. A special mention this year for the fantastic on-site photographer. We had some beautiful family photos taken, which was a lovely addition to our holiday and gave us some wonderful memories to take home. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again in the future.
Pros: - lovely spacious rooms that were kept on top of by cleaning staff. - easy WiFi access that went a good distance - great indoor pool/spa facilities that are still lovely and quiet in the evening - adults only area with good bar access and 2 hot tubs - lovely attentive staff with great communication during the week of our stay (Astrid checked us in and was funny and informative) - great coastal area with a beach to the left and more rocky snorkelling area to the right, lots of fish to swim with. - not a rowdy hotel so was consistently quiet in the later evenings and overnight - beautiful seating area under the trees with hanging lights and comfy sofa seats Cons: - the food was the only short falling of this big hotel: missing labels which included allergens, a lack of theme meant food was the same each day, more restrictive hours so even though it’s all inclusive once you have had dinner there isn’t anywhere to get snacks - we would go to the local shop for snacks as you are naturally staying up later for drinks and games. - I did notice the gluten free section was very small, maybe 3 different foods in plastic packaging. - we also received 2 tokens each at check-in, which was described as a system to reduce cups left around. The problem was that you are left constantly looking after them and for example if you wanted to hop out the pool/sea and get a drink you had to go back to your bags and dig a token out. I think this system would be better if it was just for alcoholic drinks/after a certain time. - I would also say more daily on hand staff would be needed. We never saw more than 2 waters at a time for the whole restaurant at dinner time - meaning finished plates were piled up on tables for a while rather than whisked away. Also they could also then be helping to clean up (ie cups) and reduce the need for tokens! These short fallings would not stop me from recommending this hotel. They are just slight hitches that I think people should be aware of!
