Alua Gran Camp de Mar

Very disappointing stay We are currently staying at this hotel, and unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. Room issues The problems began when we arrived, as several items that should have been provided in our room were missing. These included coffee for both the kettle and the coffee maker. Although we reported this, the coffee for the coffee maker has still not been provided. Other items confirmed as included in our My Favourite Club upgrade were also missing. We had to report these omissions and wait for them to be addressed, which was a disappointing start to our holiday. Restaurant service The main restaurant also appears to be poorly managed. Dirty tables and used plates are regularly left uncleared, while buffet dishes repeatedly run empty even though service is still continuing. Items such as sauces, specials and desserts are not replaced once they have run out. This has made the restaurant experience particularly disappointing. Food safety We saw frozen prawns on the buffet, as well as a bowl of cooked mussels that had not opened. These food-safety concerns have undermined our confidence in the buffet. As a result, we are now eating outside the hotel despite having paid for an All Inclusive holiday. Staff response When I raised these issues with a staff member, he laughed at me. Two emails sent to the hotel have also gone unanswered. Although we gave the hotel an opportunity to address these problems during our stay, nothing has improved. Beach access The nearest sea access is poor, involving uneven and worn rock and concrete leading to a sea ladder. The closest beach has also developed a substantial build-up of seaweed, approximately one foot deep in places. Overall, this is not the standard we expected from an All Inclusive holiday.

We were really impressed by what a gorgeous beach the hotel is next to. Location is great, it is a beautiful bau close to Palma and also beuatiful little towns around. Also impressed by how professional, kind and helpful all the hotel staff were. We enjoyed that all rooms view the sea. The AC was great. Normally I cannot sleep with AC well, but I was able to sleep really well. When the balcony door was closed we did not hear outside voices. The hotel room was very quiet despite being full. The bed was really comfy.

Beautiful location, right next to beach which is accessible. Alua is 30mins taxi from airport. Taxis from airport about 55 euros, plenty waiting, queue reduces quickly (uber was 70 euros, hoppa not reliable and was 66euros). Alua professional clean fun but relaxed, helpful. Next to small row of shops and bars near beach. Most of the time noise at good level. Rooms spacious enough, clean nice bathroom good shower. Loved this hol and would return. Some of my fave moments were looking at waves from beautiful terrace. Plenty of tree coverage for shade. Entertainment so good and pro. Food and drink was quality and plentiful. Token system works well (ignore the comments about it being ridiculously slow, slightly slow at some points but environment issues much more important) I was v sad to leave, thanks alua staff.

We were blown away as our first time doing all included we did not expect the food to be so good and the drinks to me so strong. We definitely felt we got our monies worth. The staff were friendly, spoke great English, room was clean and nice and facilities were good especially the adult section. It's a great place to go to relax.
