Alua Gran Camp de Mar

Perfect location and amazing hotel. We had an amazing stay and loved every moment of our holiday. The breakfast options were great for someone without food allergies. We loved the use of the spa facilities and spent almost and entire day in there. The entertainment staff were fabulous and I could come back for karaoke night alone! Perfect holiday thank you! There are also a decent selection of shops and ample restuarants around. My only recommendation, for rooms shared by couples (single beds pushed together) the hotel should look into options to "bind" single beds together with a topper so you don't fall between the two beds during the night

Where do i begin .... we paid for a My Club room (higher graded room) with a full front seaview, Every morning a generator type noise would start up around 6.45am so dont expect to lie in, along with a man with a leaf blower coming from the Adult Bar area of the hotel its a wonder he could see in the dark. The rooms need updating badly, ours had ants too even on the 5th floor. Housekeeping left us with odd bits of toilet rolls from other rooms vacated once we had 4 of these lined up no new ones ever left. Cups and glasses where left not cleaned in our room very often, most days the tea tray was not replenised. The food is awful no taste wilting salad and all of it exposed to the elements and hot food cold. We where all inclusive but after 3 attempts on going to the restaurant we knew for our own health its better to pay and eat outside elsewhere. The drinks are water down slush puppies (cocktails) draught beer ok. Dont bother to complain as the reception staff was not service with a smile they looked so deflated. As a Hyatt member i cant believe they are affiliated with this lot, i have never stayed in such a appalling Hyatt hotel. Its such a shame as this could be a fantastic hotel, its prime position in Camp de Mar which though a small resort is beautiful. We read some reviews before we went some raising the same issues. We understood from the management replies they would be looking into the problems raised and changes made as necessary. As we had confiedence in the Hyatt brand that these would be addressed ( how wrong we were) So we went ahead and booked.

Currently here in Room 612 which is lovely Every member of staff has been super friendly and helpful, I’m not going to name names because everyone has been so very helpful in their own way Cleanliness 💯 Food 💯 Drinks 💯 Location 💯 Currently looking to come back Thank you to all the amazing people who work to make our holiday special 🥰

We didn’t know what to expect as it was a last minute booking with little research, but we chose well! A great hotel, beautiful location and a superb choice of food. The staff were approachable and helpful. The hotel was spacious and absolutely spotless. The whole place had a positive vibe - even after a very long summer. A week was the perfect wind down for us 50 somethings - we’ll definitely come back.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. Having had bad experiences recently this was wonderful. Firstly the location is the best in camp de mar. The hotel is spotless. Room cleaning is first class. Great wi fi. The staff are so friendly and helpful. But, the food and dining room organisation is the best ive had for many years. So much choice of delicious food, which was hot. This is an unusual thing in some hotels. The entertainment round the pool was so good. Peope work so hard to give people a good experience. Cannot fault this hotel in any way. The view from my room - no.415 was stunning. I love this hotel.
