This hotel may look impressive from the outside, but unfortunately that impression ends very quickly once you actually stay here. I am currently staying at the hotel, and the standard of the accommodation, facilities and customer service has been exceptionally disappointing. The hotel was refurbished in 2026, which was one of the reasons I chose to book it, but so far it appears that the refurbishment was largely cosmetic, with the fundamental systems and infrastructure seemingly left untouched. The air conditioning is completely useless. It is currently 36°C outside and the room is sitting at approximately 29°C. The system simply does not cool the room. For a hotel in this climate, an air-conditioning system that fails to provide any meaningful cooling is completely unacceptable. The water pressure constantly fluctuates, as does the water temperature, but the biggest issue is the complete lack of temperature regulation. The water is either scalding hot or completely cold, with absolutely no usable middle ground. You can move the mixer tap millimetre by millimetre and it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. The rooms are also cramped and poorly laid out, with very little meaningful, usable space for suitcases, clothing and the belongings you naturally have with you on holiday. The hotel has been contacted about these issues, yet nobody has even bothered to come and inspect them. The television also does not work—there are no channels whatsoever. I was told that a technician would come the following day to resolve the issue, but that was the last I heard. No technician, no update and no further communication from the hotel. What makes this particularly disappointing is that the hotel is part of the Hyatt group. Given the name and reputation associated with Hyatt, I expected considerably higher standards of accommodation, maintenance and customer service. At present, the overriding impression is that considerable effort has gone into making the hotel look refurbished, while the basic infrastructure and guest experience have been neglected. Once you have checked in and paid your money, the apparent lack of urgency in dealing with basic problems is frankly unacceptable. I’m not going to get into the smaller things as I would have overlooked them if not for these more serious issues. My holiday provider has tried twice to contact the hotel and have been hung up on and now are not answering the phone. The holiday provider is now trying to contact the hotel with. Email. The photos show the temperature regulation for the aircon (outdated) and the lack of signal on the tv. I have videos of the water pressure and the lack of power of the aircon but I don’t think I can add them.
Hotel really lovely, recently renovated, clean and tidy. Rooms everything you need. Great transport links into Palma. Staff very helpful, Juma the entertainment guy was really approachable. Would definitely recommend.
As a solo traveller I paid for a adults only, but my fault I didn't check the details before I went.. My fault. So I was dreading it.. Rooms are lovely (little room for clothes /cases if u r a couple. Hit and miss with the staff, some are nice some are not. Checked in at 0930 and they gave me a room. Not allowed breakfast on the 1st night as half board, but could have it on last day (too late I have to check in earlier). Relax pool great for the adults, very small, didn't. Stop little kids with their huge blow up rings and things. Don't do half board, evening food isn't great (and said the team are not the most friendlysest) two pools both extremely small. Relax pool is nice until the kids came out. Don't do half board, food isn't great at all. Loads of restaurants around. Supermarket opposite. Beach around 15 min walk. It's clean and it's OK. It's 10 mins from the airport, around 17 euros. All OK, would I come back.... Hmm prob not
I stayed there one week be careful there is a lady working there very rude she insulted me and discriminates me in front of my little son her name is SARA when I made complaint against her all the other stuff supported her , never again in this place is unbelievable!!
Avoid this hotel at all costs, not good enough for part of a large chain. Phone was stolen from the sunbed as they just allow people to walk all the way through un challenged. When reported i was then accused of having lost it elsewhere or not bringing it down. Facilities are terrible with things not working properly and no solution from staff. We moved rooms 3 times in 3 days. Take a fan because the aircon is non existent. Everything is an additional extra. The only small positive was the breakfast buffet.
