Blau Colonia Sant Jordi

Hotel Blau nás nadchl krásným a prostorným areálem plným palem – připadali jsme si spíš jako na Bali 🌴. Žádné betonové komplexy, ale příjemné a zelené prostředí. Snídaně i večeře byly výborné, s opravdu širokým výběrem 🍽️. Na večeři jsme dostali k narozeninám láhev sektu, milé gesto od hotelu 😊. Pokoj byl útulný a čistý. Chyběly však hygienické potřeby (vatové tamponky, tyčinky) a toaleta i sprcha byly "součástí pokoje" jen za mléčným sklem, takže menší soukromí. Televize nebyla smart. Byli jsme rádi za bezplatnou pitnou vodu 24/7 v restauraci nebo na recepci. Oceňujeme i bezplatné parkování v ulici hned u hotelu 🅿️. Navíc jen pár minut autem od jedné z nejhezčích pláží na Mallorce – Es Trenc. Skvělá volba pro pohodovou dovolenou!

We visited as a family of 3 including a 2yr old. On arrival, staff were very friendly and accommodating explaining the resort. We were taken by golf cart to our room by Miquel who helped us in with our bags. We were located at Block 2 but to be honest, every block was located easily enough to a pool. Block 4/5 were closer to the kids pool but everything was a 5min walk to the restaurant and bars. The room had everything we needed. We had a cot made up in the lounge area and the fridge and aircon were perfect for keeping things cool. The bathroom had Rituals body wash/shampoo and there was a hairdryer. The food was fantastic. There was an unbelievable choice. The restaurant was split into 3 sections and we preferred sitting in the one with the kids buffet as it made things easier. Some nights we received a cocktail or cava on arrival with senior staff greeting us which was a nice touch. Food options included an American night (Burgers, Ribs), Asian night (Sushi - amazing) and plenty of meat, fish and veg options for dinner including display cooking of chicken/fish/beef/pork depending on what was on. My favourite was the Langoustines which was great with crusty bread! Breakfast had equally great options including an omelette station. Quite often I’d go for churros and coffee…why not…you’re on holiday! The pools were great for our son. The kids one is the best I’ve seen with the pirate ship and slides. There was also a kids play park which also had an indoor play area with cooled water and a fan. We often spent an hour at the height of the sun in there. The animation team were also top class. The mini disco was great. My only criticism is there didn’t seem to be enough sun loungers near the large pool. People seemed to reserve their bed all day. We did however notice staff remove towels and place cards on offenders before 10am of unattended beds but this seemed like a single “day of action.” The town is a 10min walk away and the tourist train comes right to reception so another option for the kids along with the Aquirium. There is also a small shop selling water, alcohol and essentials on site. The staff were the gems of the place though, all very friendly and seemed to all enjoy their jobs. Noticeably management carried out regularly walk throughs of the resort to check in with staff and guests which was encouraging. We were asked for feedback a few times. We will 100% be back. This place is unreal, a family Friendly hotel that gives you 5 star luxury. Love it here and will be back x
