I can honestly say this was 1 of the best experiences I've ever had going abroad. From the minute we stepped into the reception of the hotel, the manager Udo was absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, which as you know after a long transfer this is exactly what you need.We arrived late Sunday afternoon so didnt do much, but the hotel staff were so friendly, it was like we had been there before. The buffet dinner was a wide spread, something for everyone's taste. Monday breakfast, again a spread for everyone's taste, hot cold and continental. We wanted to go into a bigger town, again the manager Udo was amazing, gave us a helpful tip and then even phoned for a taxi.. honestly I can not fault this hotel or the staff in anyway.. The room... top notch. The staff... super helpful and friendly. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet suits everyone's taste.. 10/10... Will definitely go back again... A massive thank you to the manager Udo, a credit to this hotel.. And a thank you to the super friendly staff, everyone made our short break away one I will definitely remember and a place I definitely recommend....

First of all I'd like to say this was a fantastic holiday for me and my partner, made so due to the hotel and it's staff. We arrived at 03:20 due to a disaster with the holiday transfer (nothing to do with the hotel), and were warmly greeted by a very helpful man on reception. His English was fantastic, and he offered us both a large plate of food and a drink as we had missed the evening meal. We could eat this in the main restaurant but chose to take it up to our room. The room was spotless, and well presented with a modern tv, large bed with comfy pillows. No kettle and I don't think the fridge was switched on, but if that had bothered us then I'm sure the staff would have helped. Bathroom was very clean, with handwash, body / hair soap and body lotion all available to use. Waking up in the morning, the view from the room was amazing! Truly postcard picturesque and we enjoyed the sun coming up on our balcony, listening to the sea which was loud but not intrusive. We didn't notice much other noise during our stay, but there were so few other guests, I would have been surprised if we were disturbed at all. Went down to reception to ask about the details of the all inclusive times (we were offered the night before but we just wanted to go to bed), and the lady was very helpful and found us a printed sheet with all the information on. They had copies of this in many languages, which I imagine is helpful in peak season. As for the food, there was a good selection - less that we are used to for all inclusive, HOWEVER given we went in early May, we were more than happy with what we got. The hotel was so quiet with so few guests, we were completely understanding of them not putting out a full spread and felt we still had more than enough selection. The food we had was all really flavourful and tasted fresh, though some of it was slightly cold. There was a microwave available for us to use if we wanted. Coffee machine was available for breakfast, and juice / water machine available at any time. Outside the dining area, there was beer, wine and soft drinks all available on tap for us to help ourselves to whenever we wanted. These were also available downstairs in the bar, along with a massive range of drinks prepared by the barman. It said no cocktails included but we had plenty with no payment required. We didn't have any snacks, as suggested in the all inc. and we didn't see any available, but again we didn't ask and the staff probably would have helped if we had. Regarding the staff, a special shoutout to Udo (director), Frank (lifeguard / barman) and Juma (entertainer). We had to check out by 11:00 and our transfer wasn't until 14:50. We were sat in the bar and the receptionist hurriedly came to cut our all inc. bands off, which was the only moment we felt dismissed as though our holiday was officially over as we had checked out. However Udo came to find us, apologised for this and said we were more than welcome to still continue using the all inc. facilities until our transfer arrived. Frank was making the best drinks, which we enjoyed throughout our stay. Juma was so energetic, but never pushy. We had several long chats with him, talking about his life in Kenya and the safaris he did out there. All of the staff spoke very good English, which we never expect but is always helpful. The only downside to this hotel would be the surrounding area, however we did expect this as we had read reviews before going. The lovely sandy beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel, but only took 10 minutes to stroll from one end to the other. Given the time of year, the few shops surrounding the hotel weren't open, other than the main corner store and a few of the tourist souvenir places. We did enjoy several cold drinks on the beach from the corner shop, as it was so close. Given the lack of things to do outside the hotel, it was fab that the hotel was so enjoyable to be in, with a lovely clean pool and nice areas to sit and relax on our holiday.
