We booked the junior selection club room with half board, €250+ per night. I booked on the recommendation of another coeliac who had stayed and enjoyed it. Positives. The hospitality staff were lovely - shout out to Antonio, Leticia and Yolanda for great service. The morning chef Ana was really good and knew about cross contamination regarding the gluten free pancakes (had them cooked in the kitchen one morning as the second grill wasn't working). The gluten free crepes were good. Access to the sky pool. Boyfriend says the range of food offered was good. The spa is nice, however the jacuzzis are not warm. The bathroom in our room was nice and spacious, with both a rain shower and a detachable head. Cocktail prices were decent, and drinks were good. Negatives. The reception staff aren't very friendly, never saw them smile once (not sure if this is because they're not confident in English - the hotel is very German orientated). The separate building containing the selection rooms is 300m away, 5 minute walk, it's not on the same complex. The restaurant and all the activities are in the main building. The cleaners do not refresh the pool towels. I was berated by the receptionist for asking for new towels and not bringing the old ones to the main building. This is not communicated ANYWHERE, apparently you have to be psychic to stay here. The male receptionists just gave me towels, it was the woman with the boys haircut who was rude. The waiters in the restaurant refuse to serve you tap water - this is illegal in Spain. I wouldn't recommend it if you are a coeliac. Yes, they are very good at labelling the food allergens and there is a separate buffet containing non gluten offerings, however it is open to all and the amount of times I saw people using the tongs and touching the "muggle" food on their plates was ridiculous. There is a gluten free dessert buffet as well, but it's like the chefs don't even try. It was the same every night - mousse and custard. (Pictured). The parasols at the sky pool kept breaking (I saw maintenance twice in the whole week - one to close the umbrellas because of high winds, another to check pool levels). Parking is hard to come by, but free. Accessibility (From a carer's perspective) There is a ramp into the main building, and tables *should* be high enough to get under. The beds were raised high enough to fit a hoist under and the bathroom would be suitable. There is no lift up to the sky pool, so the annex building would not be suitable.
A pleasure form beginning to end, a beautiful clean and stylish hotel in a very peaceful Neighbourhood Lots of nice places to eat nearby and a beautiful unspoilt beach on the doorstep. Breakfast is varied and delicious, staff are super friendly, rooms spacious and clean. The spa area is lovely and I had an amazing facial and massage. Throughly recommend this hotel
We are a group of golfers who have returned to this hotel for the past fourteen years. We love the friendly atmosphere, the modern beautiful bedrooms, the superb dining room, catering for all tastes, the lounge areas, outside pools and the very friendly staff, in all areas. Also it’s position, 50m from beach, and surrounded by it’s dramatic landscape. Great walking area.
Outstanding service, steps from beach (water 25 degrees!), always quick and helpful reception staff, clean, comfortable rooms. We only booked one night and worried about mixed reviews so were honestly surprised just how nice it was! We didn't use pool.
Lovely hotel.rooms big and stylish , staff amazing .only had bed and breakfast but it was gorgeous.lovely cocktails. Lovely snack bar .pools lovely , we spent most of our time on the roof top pool , it was amazing .amazing little resort lots of lovely restaurants all easy walking distance , some lovely walks around the area , we never go back to the same hotel but we will definitely be returning next year ,
