Grupotel Club Cala Marsal

Awful hotel. No where near a 4 star. The first room we were in had a hole in the ceiling, a rusty bath, dirty curtains and an awful smell. We complained and were moved 2 doors down, which wasn’t much better. Beds rock hard. Reception staff were indifferent when we complained. Food was ok, but half board plus is just a single small glass of wine or beer with dinner. Not 4 star quality food, lack of variety. No water freely available - some bar staff would give it to you, others counted it as part of your drinks allowance. Restaurant staff more interested in policing where you sit than welcoming you in. 1 pool area ok but noisy. The quieter pool has few people but an electricity pylon /wire that made a constant buzzing sound. Beach is amazing (you have to pay for sun beds). Local restaurants really nice.

Just come back from a stay at this hotel ,all the staff were friendly and helpful ,room was lovely and clean and the bed was so comfortable ,stayed half board so breakfast and evening meal ,there was so much to choose from for both meals ,hot and cold . The other parts of the hotel were also clean and looked after,outside near the main pool was clean and very inviting . The beach across the road was lovely . Just wanted to say again thank you to all the staff .you all played a part in making my holiday memorable as this was my first holiday abroad in 6 years .

Eccellente struttura, anche se un po’ datata, ma in continuo miglioramento. È un hotel fronte mare circondato da un bellissimo parco di palme, alberi e piante tipiche con ben 4 piscine e chiringuito, campo da tennis e spazi per yoga, tiro con l’arco. Si respira il profumo del mirto. La spiaggia della baia di Cala Marsal è a 60 metri. Il personale numeroso, diretto magistralmente dal Direttore signor Antonio, è cordiale, attento e disponibile ai bisogni dei clienti. La reception, con la responsabile signora Isabella, altrettanto. Il signor Igor, addetto all’ingresso del ristorante, è persona squisita, pronto a suggerire gite o attrattive a Portocolom e dintorni. Come Isabella parla un eccellente italiano. La cucina, sia a pranzo che a cena, è curata e variegata, dal pesce alla carne, dalle verdure cotte e crude. Un angolo cottura a vista ogni sera diversa, dalla paella, ai cosciotti, ai tacos ed altro. Ottimi i dolci e varietà di frutta fresca o secca. La struttura si sta rinnovando; al settimo piano, dove abbiamo soggiornato, le stanze sono spaziose con i servizi modernissimi e, cosa che non guasta, il riposo è assicurato. Le stanze vengono rifatte e pulite giornalmente quando esci. Non ti disturbano mai anche se, nel nostro caso, ci piace dormire fino a tarda mattinata. La sera se non vuoi sfruttare i ristorantini della Cala, puoi fermarti al bar dove in genere trovi Aroa che oltre ad essere un’ottima barman è persona sensibile e sempre sorridente. Al piano interrato c’è un salone per le animazioni e balli. L’unico neo è il parcheggio un po’ piccolo per il numero di ospiti.
