Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

This is a lovely hotel. My wife and I stayed here for a week in late August 2026. The location is by the beach and we paddled or swam every day in the warm shallow water. We had a room on the ground floor, which was perfect - good size, nicely furnished and with a very large balcony. The room was serviced every day and was perfectly cleaned. The room overlooked the stage, and we were initially concerned that it might be noisy. We need not have worried. The evening entertainment ended by 10.30 each day and before that time it was us dancing and making some noise! The best feature of this hotel is the food in the restaurant, which was OUTSTANDING, in terms of quality, quantity and selection. In particular, the desserts were out of this world and we congratulated the pastry chef on his creations. The main courses were good too, and it was difficult to choose what to eat, with plenty of healthy options. The evening entertainments were good too - typically a singer or a small band on the outside stage - do not miss the Tina Turner tribute if that is on when you are there. Surprisingly, the evening entertainment was quite sparsely attended, so no problem getting a seat, and plenty of waiters and waitresses to bring you a drink. Well done to the waitress who remembered that my wife prefers to drink her (cold) lumumba through a straw, and brought one each eveing without being asked - great service. Camp de Mar is a very small resort, with just a medium sized beach, a couple of supermarkets and a handful of other shops. This is excellent if you prefer a hotel-based holiday, but there are only a few nice walks, and the hotel being right by the beach, they are all uphill! We travelled by local bus to Peguera and the Wednesday market in Andratx - both very easy and only a couple of stops away. We had a great time and are keen to go back soon - good location, great food, splendid service - what's not to like?

Soooo nice! We loved our time here. View was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice—clean, spacious, well laid out. We had a suite. Loved the balcony, sea view, spacious spa like bathroom, roomy shower. Loved the extra closet room to put all our clothes and things out of the way. Really enjoyed the evening entertainment. Like how it was nestled away in a small town. A few restaurant choices if you just want to walk to a nearby place for dinner.

Me and my partner just got back from 10 nights here and wow what an amazing hotel! Our room was amazing. Cleaned so well every day. The food was wonderful. Especially the deserts, me and my partner loved them. Breakfast is great, can request freshly made crepes and eggs to order made right in front of you plus all the other foods. The staff!! Amazing! So professional and work so hard. Especially the bar staff, always serving with a smile. We also advised the hotel it was our anniversary and we came back to our room with a bottle of rose which was so kind. It was our first time in Camp De Mar and we found it perfect for us. Up market location with a beautiful beach and only 4 min bus drive to peguera which has a bit more hustle and bustle. No problem at all with sunbeds, can always get one. The chap who looks after the pool area will always find you one. He was so lovely also. The entertainment I would say is more for the older generation, me and my partner our early 30’s but we did enjoy a couple of nights! Overall such a lovely hotel which feels so luxurious and feels like it should be 5 star! We will definitely be returning!!

Worst pizza of my life in the outdoor bar area, undercooked doughy pizza, tinned mushrooms, poor quality ham!🤮
