Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

Returned to this hotel after 3 year absence and we were very pleased to find the hotels high standards remain the same . The staff in all areas were excellent, although it’s hard to single out anyone person , l must thank Nataly Anna and Otumba for their special kindness towards us . Food and how clean the hotel is spot on .The entertainment as improved since our last visit .

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. We went to see the eclipse and had a good view from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our ground floor room was excellent and we had an extended balcony. Air conditioning was effective, if a little noisy. The buffets at breakfast and dinner were very good and catered very well for dietary restrictions. We would not normally stay at this type of hotel but we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Firstly this hotel is in the most beautiful bay, stunning beach, crystal clear water that’s clean and teeming with fish. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are a great size, immaculately clean and in good order. The beds are firm but comfortable and the bathroom is a great size and is stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We had a fantastic sea view and balcony. The pool is great for its accessibility as it has a gentle slope into the water with a handrail. There are plenty of sun loungers. Despite the early morning brigade running out to get to beds overlooking the bay, there are plenty of loungers and Javier the lifeguard is very accommodating and happy to set up loungers wherever you wish. The whole pool area is meticulously cleaned every day and kept to a high standard, probably the cleanest I have ever experienced. The restaurant is great, plenty of variety and the staff are so friendly, Isabella and Otunba particularly stood out. the service is brilliant. My only criticism would be that I’d like to have seen more Spanish food, patatas bravas and a proper seafood paella would have been welcome! The evening meal provides many ‘safe’ options for the mainly German and British guests. Breakfast was excellent, great selection and the chefs do an amazing job. I can recommend the half day trip to Sóller port which involves a wooden tram and train we booked this at reception. We also did the dolphin spotting boat trip which was also well worth doing as we saw lots of dolphins which we booked directly with Comoron outside the hotel. The highlights of our 10 day holiday were, the view, the staff, the cleanliness, the breakfast and the final nights entertainment which was ‘Mama Mia’, a girl group doing ABBA songs, they were fab! All in all this is a fab hotel, brilliant for those with mobility issues and wheelchair users, lovely and peaceful as it’s adult only and in a stunning location. We will go again in the future.

Absolute top notch hotel and location. Staff were great, food was marvellous and our room was very good. We will definitely be going again, but not when it is soooo hot.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. My wife and I have just returned, We both wanted a quiet week to enjoy the resort and totally relax. This hotel did not disappoint. We were half board. A vast variety of food on offer which changes each night. Fresh fish and meat being cooked by the chefs and plenty of other dishes to try. The staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. If you’re not half board, there aren’t many other places to eat so might be worth checking that before arriving. The restaurant Illeta is a must!! We visited twice and the food and views are amazing!! You must book beforehand though to avoid disappointment . We really liked the fact that this is an adults only hotel as it felt quieter and more relaxing for us. The bus service is great, tap on and off. Fares are cheap, buses are clean, on time and air conditioned. We caught the bus from Palma airport to the resort, took just over an hour. We would definitely return in future
