HM Isabela - Adults Only

i have just returned from a weeks all inclusive at the hotel, firstly let me say how amazingly spotless every part of the hotel is honestly no matter what time of day it was the whole hotel was gorgeously clean there is a few issues mainly the noise in the room i am a light sleeper but it was next level the walls are paper thin an you can hear people toilets flush sneezing doors slamming showers its alot we also got alot of outside noise which isnt the hotels fault its just the hotels in such a central location you will get that the rooms are abit on the small side but i was prepared for that as i had read some reviews which stated this sunbeds it was like the sunbed Olympics if you werent up queuing at 8:50 you wouldnt get a bed this was September to i can imagine it to be a nightmare during peak months when i go on holiday setting an alarm for sunbeds isnt something i like to do the drinks are awful on the all inclusive all week every fizzy drink was flat as well as the beer not sure if this was an issue with the pumps cocktails are all premade in a machine so not the best there is an option to upgrade to premium brands £15 per person per day which we didnt do as it wasnt the alcohol that was the issue it was the mixers / soft drinks as well as this there is no entertainment one night there was a signer but other than that there is no atmosphere same in the day there is no music on or anything round the pool i now its adults only but like another review stated you could literally hear people turning the pages of their books round the pool the food isnt bad i wasnt expecting much as its an all inclusive in Majorca and it only cost us and extra £200 for all inclusive i would say a 6/10 there was always something you could eat it was just abit repetitive but overall i thought it was ok and again all spotlessly clean food was fresh always the location is perfect right next to the beach bars shops restaurants etc 20 mins from the airport overall not a bad stay i would suggest doing B&B for anyone going as there is so many nice places outside the hotel to eat and drink

For an adults only hotel we were very disappointed. The atmosphere was non existent to the point where you could hear the page of a book being turned. We have stayed in other adult only hotels but nothing quite like this one before. There was no entertainment whatsoever, the staff were incredibly rude and at times quite military. One lady in particular in the restaurant looked like she wanted absolutely everyone in there to be somewhere else. She was rude, abrupt and very unhelpful. If you want to enjoy an adults only break go somewhere else because this is not a fun place to be especially if you want to have a conversation/good time with whoever you are holidaying with. When you escape the confines of the hotel the beach is lovely and there are plenty of shops and bars with friendly people.

Just spent ten days at this hotel.Quiet, no information at reception you had to scan the QR code for info sleep quality was great nice and quiet , hotel and room cleanliness was exceptional.Room was very compact with not enough room for two people to walk around and twin beds for a couple wasn't great. Bathroom was ok although we lost water pressure a few times in the evening but it wasn't for long. The safe was free and the fridge was working well the free bottle of water was welcomed but it wasn't replenished.Food quality was excellent not much of a choice for lunch and dinner but they did do theme nights and it was nice and healthy. Although whilst waiting for chicken to be fried at the station a waitress came from the back of the kitchen with a plate and the chef started filling her plate up with the newly fried chicken, we asked if we could have of some of that as we had been stood there waiting for it ,she then gave us some. Found the food to of ran out sometimes and you had to stand waiting for fresh batch. Breakfast choice was ample but yet again we had to stand and queue up for the eggs ,there didn't seem to be a lot of staff working in the restaurant and sometimes whilst sitting outside you had to clear your own plates. There's an Irish bar at the front of the hotel where guests can get 10% off, it was called Irish Soul and to be honest it had no soul there was no Irish music just loud rap that the bar man put on it looked like a traditional pub with no atmosphere. Atmosphere at the lobby bar was none and hardly any entertainment we saw two lady singers in ten days. What we did like that it was no smoking hotel although there was still people vaping outside at the bar and by the pool which was annoying,the lifeguard often told them to stop but some just sat there vaping regardless like kids sucking on a dummy. Pool was ok to cool down just for a dip although pool opened at 9 am on the second week you had to queue to get a sun lounger not so many with parasols. People came in with day passes and took over the pool ,tried not to get involved with the pool conflicts. We escaped to the beach for a couple of days the beach is exceptionally clean 22.50 euro for two beds with comfy mattresses and coconut parasol which was quite reasonable.The hotel location is excellent with bars and restaurants beach are just a short walk away. Would return again in the future yes we probably would .

Just returned from a week here, and have to say, not worth the money. I did notice there is quite a few reviews about reception staff being rude,which they clearly don't take on board. Pro points: location, cleanliness, breakfast (and breakfast chefs/staff) Check in - No information is given at check in and the staff just look unwelcoming and angry if you ask a question, not quite what i expected from a 4 star which was a lot of money... Ants in the rooms.....told reception, cleaner put down some some spray but they returned following day. No irons in rooms... Pool/sunbeds, good luck finding one. Everyone racing to reserve a sunbed from 9am which they then keep all day. Had not realised people were there on paid for day passes, so paying hotel guests can not get a sunbed? Clearly there is lots of reviews about this issue and nothing has been done to resolve it. On check-out, I would have addressed these issues but instead the receptopn staff took the key and looked the other way, not even a "how was your stay?" If the hotel wants to make improvements, perhaps start with addressing your reception staff, offering a bit more welcoming hospitality and people will recommend/come back. As the hotel has so much potential.

Just back from a fabulous holiday at HM Isabella. Wonderful hotel! Spotlessly clean and food was amazing. The thing that really made it for me and my friends were the staff who were super friendly. Particular shout out to the wonderful Eva who went out of her way with us and other guests. Also to the bar staff, Diego, Jose, Roberto and Angelo! We will definitely be back next year.
