JS PortoColom Suites

We booked independently so we could specify a high floor , sea view room. We were upgraded to a fabulous suite with 2 bedrooms which was great as we used one for our clothes and stuff. It was spotless and the shower was one of the best I've ever used. We were half board for 10 nights. The breakfast was great with a huge choice. We ate out a couple of times in the evenings but the dinner at the hotel was good with plenty of choice though we did get bored of the canteen arrangement towards the end and the desserts were poor compared to the other food. I can't really fault the hotel or the staff and Portocolom was lovely. The bars on the square in front weren't that nice and it was noisy at night. There were a lot of families with babies and toddlers, which wasn't ideal as there was no adult only areas in the hotel or pool....it was like a kindergarten , which is great if you've got little ones, but we're 20 years past all that. We knew it was family friendly, but it all got too much in the end for us. As I said, the hotel is great....we did have a great holiday ( we avoided the pool ) but we wouldn't go back as it's not ideal for midlife couples !

Hotel was lovely plenty of sun beds food we went half board food was good the room was clean the only issue we had was our room was facing the square at the front where there are several bars/ restaurants the music from one of them was very loud so sitting on the balcony on an evening wasn’t enjoyable and the music went on very late. the area itself is very quiet but we knew that before we went I would go again but maybe a room round the other side of the hotel.

Travelled with my wife, son, his partner and baby Jasper 10 months old. For us it was ideal in a quiet but beautiful town. Hotel staff were exemplary and nothing was too much trouble for them, special mention to Tamy doing entertainment and Tey in restaurant, reception and poolside bar staff also. Food was excellent both breakfast and dinner. No rush to get sunbeds, always plenty about. Some great restaurants along seafront. Cala Dor 15 minutes away for a day/night out. Relaxing break. We absolutely loved JS Suites Portocolom. We went for my daughter's 40th birthday as a family and it was wonderful ! The suites are a great size, very clean, lovely comfortable beds and great shower! The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Food was amazing even for our picky grandsons 😀 There was a very nice atmosphere in the hotel and was quiet at nighttime for a good sleep. We absolutely LOVED Portocolom it's a jewel! Very quiet and serene just perfect. Thank you to lovely Paula and her team we will be back xx

We only stayed for 3 nights. Had a lovely time and wished we had longer.. it was quiet as well as appealing to children and families. Breakfast was delicious..rooms were clean and spacious! Entertainment was minimal but appropriate for the hotel. The surrounding area was calm and peaceful. Some lovely places to eat out..not busy at all. Less touristy and more of the locals. Loved it. Going back next year!!!
