Kimpton Aysla Mallorca

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptional — always willing to help, whether recommending restaurants, booking taxis or suggesting great days out. Their friendliness made a big difference to our holiday. The kids’ pool area is fantastic and never felt overcrowded, even during a busy August stay. The adults‑only pool was pleasant too, though it lacked a bit of character compared with the rest of the hotel. The indoor spa pool is beautiful, very peaceful and clearly well maintained. The pool bar and restaurant serve great food, but eating lunch there every day does become expensive. There are no restaurants or shops within easy walking distance, but the hotel offers a free shuttle to Santa Ponsa and Port Adriano on demand, and they were always quick to arrange it. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom, a separate wardrobe area and a lovely balcony — a great setup for a relaxing stay. Overall, we felt this hotel offered good value for money for a 5‑star property that still feels personal and welcoming. A special thank you to Eduardo and Alejandro for making our stay so enjoyable.

We chose Kimpton Aysla because we were traveling with a dog and the hotel was dog friendly. Although, the hotel was new and comfortable, there were multiple things that disappointed us and also didn't meet our expectations. I have to say that the pictures on the website look better than reality. Property seemed large in the pictures on the website but was not a large hotel in person and not as extravagant. Things that disappointed us (Cons): - A/C was not working properly even after a few visits by staff members to check on it for some trouble shooting - The bed pillows had mildew smell - Very small adult's pool - We had booked two twin beds for kids' room but wasn't available at the check-in - Service at the pool was very scattered and not per Luxury Hotel standard - Breakfast (presentation was messy) - At night times we only had scolding hot water from the vanity sink. No cold water - Nothing around the hotel Pros: -The dinner at the restaurant was fantastic -The pool restaurant was fantastic -Helpful staff members at the reception -Cleanness and Newness

I had high hopes for this property after seeing the beautiful pictures, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. There were so many bees around the pool that it was difficult to even sit by the pool and enjoy it. The kids’ club was also very dull and didn’t offer much for children. Overall, the hotel felt more like a business or work-travel hotel than a place designed for families on holiday. The food was also disappointing and confusing, with several different menus and options that didn’t seem to work particularly well together. One positive was that the rooms were very nice, modern, and new. However, the hotel is nowhere near the beach, which was a major drawback for us. Given the location and overall experience, I would not recommend this hotel for a family beach vacation.

This is a stunning property that instantly brings a relaxed feeling to you. The design, the small touches, the music, the food... everything is amazing. Above all Martina who helps with the children in the hotel is simply the most incredible woman!!! She is the star of the entire hotel!! So loving and caring to everyone she meets.

We have stayed here a few times and always had a lovely relaxing experience! Great location with super relaxing athosphere. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. This is also a great place to stay with your dog.
