Na Taconera Sport & Relax

Hotel overall is nice, rooms small but clean but could use a kettle and room safe. Housekeeping very nice and clean. Room is dark, could use a proper overhead light. Initial impression was great, a fabulous receptionist checking us in. Pool area is lovely and relaxed, no racing down for sun loungers, be it probably later in the holiday season. Breakfast spread is good, more of a culture cuisine but nice. We got told off by a member of staff for sitting at a large table although all 2/4 seaters were taken as they section off a portion of the room. Hotel location is okay if you don't mind paying 14 euro roughly into Cala Ratjada for dinner if you haven't gone all inclusive. Biggest issue came with 3 days to go, we had no hot water. 3 nights in a row standing in the shower covered in suds and the hot water completely shuts off. I rang reception at the first occurrence and reception man was rude and unhelpful. On the third day we were fed up of this happening, I told our preferred man on reception and he did say it was happening hotel wide. However, we got no apology or compensation offered all though I would consider it a health and safety violation. Especially considering this is a four star establishment that we paid well for. Although we did have a nice stay, this certainly put a downer on our holiday.

Na Taconera sports and relax is a fabulous hotel. Peaceful, beautiful pool area, wonderful pool bar staff, food is amazing although a very few members of the restaurant staff need to work on their customer service, apart from a very few, the majority were very nice. As I said the food and chefs were amazing, breakfast had so so much choice and evening meals was amazing - such a variety every night. About a 2 minute walk over the road is the sports centre who do the most amazing lunchtime meals and coffee. The wonderful beach is about an 6 minute walk away - we went for a sunris swim every morning - the water was so warm. Near the right hand side of the beach near the rocks, this is fresh water and you can feel the difference in temperature it’s amazing - apparently years ago, you used to be able to sink the water that came from the rocks. We went into Cala Rajata a few nights by taxi - aprox 8 mins and 13 euros but well worth a visit. All in all this is one of my and my families most favourite hotels we have stayed in Majorca and I’ve been to many many many. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation it’s perfect.

The hotel is an excellent choice for families. The food is very good, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. I recommend it for families looking for a relaxing holiday. The only downside is the location, as it is a bit far from the city centre and the airport. However, the area is peaceful and perfect for those who want to unwind. The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They truly made our stay memorable, and I would give the employees more than five stars for their outstanding service.

My 18 yo daughter and I wanted a girlie holiday to celebrate my bday and her finishing A levels /school so booked the day before for some r&r. This hotel was perfect for a few days away. The roof terraces was fantastic for privacy and the sports club great for chill vibes. The reception staff were incredibly helpful giving us tips of markets to visit nearby and lunch spots. So helpful! Also I received a lovely bottle of fizz and a letter congratulating me on my bday. Superb! Can’t Obrien!

Stayed at this hotel for a few days away for nothing more than a few pool days in the sun. The hotel appears to boast a large sports operation but didn’t not use any of it so can’t comment. From arrival at the hotel, during our stay, to checking out, the staff were faultless, all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in in a privilege room on half board (recommended as there is nothing in the immediate area food or drink options in the evening) the restaurant is a little dated and the food quality is pretty average at best but did the job, and was to be expected for a 4* European, Buffett style restaurant. The room we had was very clean, modern and comfortable. The walls are unfortunately very thin and the noise at night from the surrounding gardens (birds/ crickets/ and frogs/ toads will keep you awake) and I guess luck of the draw with who is staying next to you - we had a few evenings of loud talk/ laughter phone calls etc but that’s on the guests not the hotel. The pool area is nice, didn’t get too crowded in the day and was a lovely chilled out area to relax - until 3pm when the hotels sports lady came round trying to get people in involved in aqua aerobics with her boom box - our que to leave. Only issue during our stay was a small leak from the rooms air conditioning. A quick call to reception and within an hour a friendly matainence man had it all resolved. Overall we had a lovely stay for what was a basic cheap break for us to switch off and relax.
