O7 Be Klub

We stayed in Reef 2 for 4 nights and are leaving tomorrow, so we wanted to leave an honest review after reading through some of the reviews on TripAdvisor before coming. We came as a family of 6, with 4 children aged 5, 9, 15 and 17, and honestly, there was something for all of us to do. We went during term time rather than the main summer school holidays, so the resort was definitely less busy than it would be at peak times. There are plenty of pools to choose from, and we never struggled to find sun loungers for all 6 of us, which was a big positive. For families, there are plenty of things to keep younger children entertained. There are parks around the Reef area, as well as the water slides. Around the Central Pool, there are also different activities running in the mornings, so there really is plenty to get involved with if you want to. There are also lots of little shops around the resort, which are really handy if you’ve forgotten something or just need a few essentials without having to leave the resort. We arrived at around 2pm and had two rooms booked. One room was ready when we arrived, while we were told the other would be ready at around 4pm. The rooms weren’t in the same apartment, but the two apartments were directly opposite each other, so it really wasn’t an issue for us. Our room in Reef 2 was recently refurbished, or at least appeared to be, and overall we were happy with it. One downside was that our room wasn’t cleaned during our 4-night stay. We made do and it didn’t ruin our holiday, but it would have been nice to have it cleaned at least once. Outside of the room, we found the resort to be very clean. Staff are constantly cleaning and were friendly throughout our stay. There are plenty of bins around the resort, and in our experience, most of the mess we did see seemed to be from other guests not cleaning up after themselves rather than the staff not doing their job. There are wasps around the resort, particularly around areas where people have spilled drinks. Again, this seemed more connected to guests leaving sugary drinks around than a lack of cleaning, as staff were constantly clearing and cleaning the areas. The shuttle bus was also really useful. It comes around roughly every 5 minutes and takes you wherever you need to go around the resort. This was especially helpful for us as we had a 70-year-old woman in our group, so we didn’t always have to walk everywhere. We’ve noticed that a lot of the negative reviews we read before coming were about things that, from our experience, aren’t necessarily within the hotel’s control, so we think it’s worth coming with an open mind and judging the resort for yourself. If you need to get a taxi to or from the back of the resort, they were around €7 when we were here. There is also an electric cart option, which was around €15. We found the regular shuttle bus more than enough most of the time, but the other options are useful if you need to get somewhere quickly or don’t want to wait. The food was nice overall. We had a very fussy 5-year-old with us and we were still able to find things he would eat. To be fair, though, most of the time he was more just being funny and refusing to eat much rather than there not being anything suitable for him! The main buffet restaurant can get really packed, although this wasn’t as much of an issue for us because we visited during term time. You can also eat at the Central Hotel, which we found to be much quieter and had a different variety of food, so it’s definitely worth knowing about as an alternative. There is also an Italian restaurant, but you need to book this in advance, so it’s worth doing that early if you want to try it. The evening entertainment is fab, with something different each night, so there’s plenty of variety. We personally rarely stayed for very long, but what we did see was really good. The drinks system was fine for us. You can have 3 drinks per person at a time from the bars, but once you’ve finished them, you can go back up and get more, so we never really found this to be an issue. The Wi-Fi does work, although it can cut out from time to time. One tip for anyone coming: bring some mosquito spray and/or mosquito bands for the evenings, just to be on the safe side. Thankfully, none of us were bitten during our stay, but it’s something I’d recommend having with you. Overall, we’ve had a really enjoyable 4-night stay. Like any holiday, there are a few things that could have been better, but none of the issues we experienced ruined our holiday. After reading some of the negative reviews before coming, we were slightly unsure of what to expect, but we came with an open mind and have had a good experience overall. I think it’s worth remembering that everyone’s experience will be different, especially depending on the time of year you visit.

I am used to budget friendly hotels and I am no snob but this place is filthy! Room.. Check in was a shambles, took forever was given a map with a block circled and sent on our way. The complex is huge took a while to find our room. In error I put the key in the wrong door, I opened it and realised it was already being used, quickly closed the door my room was next door. How on earth does a key open a room that is not yours! The room was grubby. Took my shoes off and the bottom of my feet were black with muck from the floor, bathroom grubby and hairs in beds. Bathroom window was broken. Stains on towels. Food.. The worst food I have ever had on all inclusive basis Main restaurant is a shambles and so busy., no air con so in 35 degree heat it was unbearable. The plates and bowls are chipped and hard find one that isn’t. Food is awful. Pure slop. If you can live on nuggets and chips you will be ok but everything else is just awful. Pool.. The main central pool is where the activities take place. The animation team are great and so friendly. However they come around the pool asking you to take your phone out and write a review, my daughter gave a guy her phone and he wrote his own review. I think this is the reason you will see short positive comments about team and hotel on trip advisor Snack bar serves burgers, hot dogs and chips. They are like cardboard. Pool side toilets are filthy, the door is all decayed on the bottom, locks broken. No soap to wash hands, are lack of basic hygiene. Entertainment.. The evening shows were good, the animation team work so hard. It’s based outside and there are plenty of seats. Probably the best entertainment I have seen in a hotel. Only let down are the toilets, 2 toilets for so many people to use and absolutely filthy and run out of loo roll. My daughter went to bar and had to have a heated discussion to get some more. The animation team make this hotel Staff.. Animation team are lovely people. All other staff were very rude, from reception staff to bar staff.

Seems this hotel complex is a little hit & miss but I suspect many of the negatives are the usual whingers expecting deluxe for relatively cheap price. For us, we had a great week as a family of 8 in three seperate accomodation units which were all great - very modern, spacious, clean, well located ( give it a rest those of you who have moaned about walking distances, no more than 5 mins from any block to restaurant areas and max of a 10 min pleasant stroll between any block. Food which is always the main issue with people was excellent - PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE THAT SAYS OTHERWISE. Always plenty of choice, plenty of salads, cold meats, always at least one fish dish ( we had good quality salmon steaks one evening), meat dishes, always one or two cook while you wait dishes, pastas, meatballs, vegetables and always the perpetual french fries and nuggets etc for the kids or indeed, those fusspots and salad dodgers that couldn't possibly try anything different from their usual blandness ! Breakfasts were fine, again, plenty of choice, cooked options and contintental plus juices, coffees, pastries etc. Desserts weren't the best but personally didn't bother me although always 3 or 4 flavours of ice cream. Also used the Italian and the Mexican speciality resturants, both of which were excellent and made a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant. Only downside was poor air con system in the main restaurant - if temperatures were much above 27-28 degrees ( were well into 30's on several days for us), you will drip I'm afraid - my tip, stay away from the window seated areas. Bars were OK but quite a limited selection (one type of cold beer, no rum other than white ) but they will always knock you up a cocktail or three and there's always plenty of options for the kids. Pools and pool areas are great, particularly the young kids areas at Reef - no towels provided though so don't forget to bring your own beach/pool towels. Two very good Spar shops on site - reasonable prices too. Cycle/scooter rental available, we didn't use but noted the cost which was around 12-15 euro per day for a bike depending on type. Staff - didn't really have a lot of interaction with them TBH but certainly saw no sign of any rudeness etc that others have alluded too. Entertainment - we attended 3 evening shows - one was excellent (Showtime on a Thursday) but one (Karaoke) was dire - really dire but hey, take yourself off to the 'strip' which is literally just outside the complex where most shops, bars, kids rides etc etc open well into the evening till around 11 pm and is a nice 10-15 min stroll down to the excellent beach at the bottom. Couple negatives - evening Mozzies but not much they can do about those - tip, buy a small citronella candle for your table which helps a little. I was also dismayed at the cost of the safari crazy golf which was 11E for adults, 9E for kids, it looked to be a fantastic crazy golf course but no way we were going to pay in excess of 80E for our family party and quite honestly, was a bit cheapskate for this not to be part of the all-inclusive deal In summary, this is a fab complex for families at a decent price in a good location but its quite busy so don't expect a culturally uplifting experience - you could quite easily stay on site all week and hardly spend anything extra and have a great time with the family - oh, did I mention - DO NOT TAKE ANY NOTICE OF ANY REVIEWS THAT SUGGESTS FOOD IS POOR/DISGUSTING BLAH BLAH BLAH, it's not, it really is very good, honestly.

Amazing entertainment at 07 club. Want to repeat

We have a nice experience in the o7 bro klub! Staff is amazing! Drinks are good ! Rooms are clean! And the food is also good! Location is big and really nice! The entertainment team are working really hard everyday and everynight! Aron explains us everything about the hotel and what to do in the hotel! We go tonight to the texmexx restaurant to give it a try! And we let him know tomorrow how it was!
