tent Calvia Beach

Stayed here on our first girls holiday and it was such a great find, for so cheap. Breakfast is on until 1:30pm. Food was standard but great when hungover. Pool area was kept very clean, room was clean and spacious and very quiet and chilled, which was quite nice considering it’s mainly girls/lads holiday destination. Can’t really comment on the noise during the night as we were out, but we never had a problem with noisy neighbours. The piece of kebab that was on our floor when we arrived and was not cleaned up the whole holiday was abit unsettling but we grew an attachment to it. Our air con also wasn’t working when we arrived and reception weren’t very helpful, however it started working after a few hours so not much of an issue. 5 minute walk from the strip and only abit longer to the beach. Can’t wait to stay here again in the summer!

We have just come back from this hotel, lovely stay, nice room with huge balcony. And view of the pool, it was a suite, unlimited brunch, but food average, though nice coffee and good continental, close to beach etc, caught bus to santa ponsa, staff helpful, some cleaning overlooked, but great.

Had a great time! Excellent location, very very friendly staff who were so helpful at checking in, and also recommending hire cars and days out. Told us which bus to get and where the stops were etc. Hotel design and facilities were excellent with a gym, laundry room, pool, and huge dining room and amazing buffet that was from 9.30am- 1.30pm. I've never seen such a good deal- you can go as many times as you want and aren't rushed or anything. So you could have breakfast and lunch if you wanted. Only criticism was that a lot of things in my room were broken- toilet seat detached, sliding door wad broken and in danger of entirely jamming- quite dangerous. Plug sockets didn't fit the plug properly, only one worked in the apartment. My parents room also had their bathroom door not working and they got locked in, and so did the member of staff when checking. There was a microwave but not plates, cups or cutlery at all. A kettle but no cups. The fridge door inner kept coming off so couldn't store anything in the fridge. I also, had a shower in the poolside shower room- but the lock was clearly broken as someone just walked straight in to me naked in the shower, which was horrifying. So maintenence and repairs need SERIOUSLY sorting out. But the rest was so good and value for money that it didn't ruin anything!
