THB Bamboo

At the start of October, I spent five nights at the THB Bamboo Alcudia hotel, travelling on my own and having booked just a room, and I really enjoyed my stay there. The location is excellent: it’s about a 3-minute walk to the beach. Admittedly, you do have to cross the road, but there’s a pedestrian crossing, and drivers always stopped to let me through, so it never caused me any inconvenience. The staff were always polite and provided quick, efficient assistance whenever I needed anything. I had a standard room – simple, but spotlessly clean, tidy and cosy. I also really liked the gym. It has everything you need, which is surprisingly rare in hotels. The swimming pool was good too. What you need to know before booking: the bathroom layout is unusual. The shower and toilet are two separate cubicles with a shared door, so when one is closed, the other is open, and there are gaps at the top and bottom, meaning they aren’t completely sealed off. For me, travelling alone, this was perfectly fine, but if I’d been with a partner, I’d have thought twice. Furthermore, the shower cubicle is set slightly above floor level, so water constantly spilled into the toilet cubicle and the corridor. The only way to avoid this is to use a towel as a barrier. That’s the only thing I’d improve. Overall, I’d happily recommend this hotel to solo travellers. Couples might want to check whether other room types have an en-suite bathroom. I left with only good memories. 5/5

I am currently at this hotel and cannot fault this hotel. Beautiful Hotel, Beautiful Staff and Beautiful Views. The breakfast & dinner have been delicious. Thank you so much.

Very nice hotel for solo travelers or if traveling with friends where you each have your own room. If you are a couple recommend booking a suite. Open bathroom and WC in all other rooms. Pros: clean & modern, super friendly staff, nice variety breakfast buffet, two pools. Amazing pool cocktails. Nice lounge places outside and inside hotel. Bedrooms although small are modern and fully equiped including; fridge and kettle. Cons: only one elevator for staff and guests, massage room super small and unconfortable, dinner meal not good at all, outside air conditioning vents noise can hear all night if leave window open. Open bathrooms in bedrooms. Small bedrooms. Ambiance perfume in hotel lobby too strong. 7 min walk to beach through quite a touristy town.

Me and my partner have just returned back from this hotel! Would definitely recommend, friendly staff, very clean rooms and all hotel areas. Spent my birthday here and was left with a card and bottle of wine in our room from the hotel! Food & drinks were also really good here. We stayed in room number 428 which was a stunning view! 😍 Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, anything we needed was provided promptly and with a smile. The resort is exceptionally clean and all public spaces were well maintained. The dining staff were excellent, besides the great food we looked forward to every meal for the excellent and warm hospitality. Excited to return! Highly recommend!!
