Comitas Tramontana Park

It's October and the season finishes next week but that doesn't change a think. It's fantastic here the one bedroom apartment is well equipped for upto a family of 3 possibly 4. A stunning view from our sea facing balcony with a table and 4 chairs is perfect. The kitchen is enough to cope with the basics of self-catering by far.The bathroom is perfect with loads of instant hot water with a walk in shower.Flatscreen TV but limited viewing not that you need it as the scenery here is outstanding to say the least. We have eaten here once and will be again tonight as the food was spot on a buffet kind of affair and exceptional at 19€ a head.There are two supermarkets well within walking distance and well stocked with all things needed. 6 restaurants within walking distance 3 are closed but the 3 that are open are all next to each other only minutes for the apartments. So all in all this place gets 10/10 for everything here I can't and won't fault one thing as there is none. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs here a lot of stairs. Also when out walking it is not all on the flat but quite hilly. We have loved every minute here 100% and will return.

Our second stay at Tramontara A very peaceful week. The apartment we had overlooked the sea, very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay and explore the island by bus or walk. Loved it.

A small, stylish hotel featuring typical Menorcan architecture in the residential area of Fornells. We especially recommend it to those who are not looking for a classic tourist resort. Opportunities for walks, hikes, proximity to the picturesque fishing town of Fornells. Very good food for a three-star hotel, the hotel makes an effort and checks your satisfaction during your stay. Minor technical issues in the room are dealt with immediately, our light bulb was replaced right away. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

Lovely hotel with stunning views at the back where you can sit in the sun or the shade. Great pool for all ages Lots of steps so need to be mobile. Good restaurant and bar. All round was a very relaxing holiday

Honestly the views alone are worth the trip here! Breath taking sunsets and a sangria were order of the day. The area is well serviced by a very reliable bus service which took us to Mahon (make sure you visit The Fish Market tapas bar), es Mercadal (visit Cas S'ucrer for the best ensaimadas), Arenal d'en Castell (what a stunning beach!) and Ciutdaella (via Es Mercadal). The local supermarket is an absolute rip off but did us for the basics and was well stocked even though we travelled late September. We had a couple of dinners in the hotel which were absolutely fine and there was good selection available, buffet style. The accommodation itself is comfortable - would highly recommend paying extra for a sea view as it''s so worth it. The swimming pool in the complex is cold but sufficient but I'd imagine it gets very busy in the height of the Summer season as it is small. You need to be very able bodied to move about the complex. Steps down to the pool from reception - further steps down to the bar and we were an additional 3 flights up so we definitely got our step count in. The coastal walk from Comitas Tramontana to Fornells is highly recommended but again, it's recommended only for the able bodied but the beers in Fornells were worth it - special mention to Yami restaurant for lunch, coffees and beers. If it's good enough for the local law enforcers to have their lunchtime break, it's good enough! Bring your swimsuit and towel and take a dip in the quaint harbour area where you will find local family's spend their Sundays. Top tip - bring swim shoes. If you can navigate the steep steps at the front of the hotel, it it possible to sea swim with care - it is rocky
