Gran Sagitario

Just back from a lovely holiday here at this beautiful clean and modern hotel. We chose this hotel as although we have a 5yr old we were still after a bit of a quieter resort with it being the school holidays. The rooms were lovely and clean and breakfast plenty to choose from, plenty of sunbeds to choose from at any time during the day with a lovely pool area. Staff were great especially with our son and were always very helpful. It was super hot during our stay so welcomed the lovely modern air conditioning all through out the hotel. We hope to come back here again sometime.

What can i say this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in . The staff always greet you . They will do anything for you . The room are in a beautiful condition the cleaning is excellent .The bedding is lovely and fresh every day . The food is the best i have ever had in a hotel .the hotel is run in an excellent manner. Will be returning next year for sure . Big Thankyou to all the staff.

We stayed from 2nd to 12th July. We found the hotel to be quiet during the day with few people round the pool or in the bar in the evening. There was entertainment for an hour some nights but not many people watching. We enjoyed going to the nearby beach and there were 2 very good, lively beach bars with great staff, food and drinks. If you want a decent sunbed on the beach you need to book the day before. Cost is €21 for a day or 15 for a half day. Beach was always busy. The hotel room was light, bright and clean. Great shower and comfortable bed, good storage. A small fridge and there is a shop about a 8 minute walk away if you want to buy water and wine and beach things. No balls or floats allowed in the hotel pool. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, huge choice, well cooked cannot fault. Service, well it was hit and miss. Sometimes good sometimes not. There was a waiter called Isaac who was consistently good, pleasant and diligent. Some of the others not so. Breakfast is served from 8am, so we had booked a tour and had to be at the bus stop for 08.20. We went to the restaurant at 5 to 8 hoping we could get in early but the doors remain locked till 8, so a short time to eat anything and you are strictly not allowed to take food out with you. Then on our last day we were being picked up at 7am, so no breakfast that day. We enjoyed our holiday but wouldn't return to this hotel.

Just returned from a fabulous week in the Gran Sagitario, Santandria. What a fabulous stay. The hotel was well maintained and spotless throughout. The room was a great size and had everything we needed. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and accommodating. As a vegetarian, I have had some very disappointing experiences at other hotels, and whilst I appreciate that fish and meat is a large part of Spanish cuisine, I found that there were plentiful fresh vegetables and some vegetarian options. All the food, including the salads and fruit were super fresh. The swimming pool is a lovely size with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, and the pool bar serves a great selection of food and drinks. The pizza was delicious. The hotel is in a great location, just a minutes stroll from the local beach and cove, where the water was stunningly clear and warm, with a lovely beach bar that had served great food and had a lovely atmosphere, day and night. There are bus stops just a 5 minute walk away and we caught the bus to Cala Blanca beach and Ciutadella. When cool enough {evenings} it is a pleasant walk to Cala Blanca where there are many restaurants and bars. Gran Sagitario is a peaceful hotel and was perfect for a relaxing break. We would highly recommend if this is what you are looking for.
