Gran Sagitario

Recently returned from another great stay at the Hotel Gran Sagitario. The room and hotel generally are spotlessly clean. The swimming pool is large and welcoming. The food is excellent. All the staff work so hard and are so friendly. The position of the hotel near a cute little cove yet only a 15 minute bus ride into Cieutadella is also fabulous. Our second stay at this hotel. We would not look anywhere else in Menorca. A super find.

Stayed here for 6 nights in September/October 2026. First time to Menorca, having frequented Mallorca a dozen times for the last 15yrs. Gran Sagitario is a lovely hotel. Modern, clean (immaculately clean!), well-maintained, with excellent amenities. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent with great choices for both breakfast and dinner (buffet for both). Rooms were perfect, housekeeping staff were wonderful and took great care of us during our stay. Pool was great, plenty of sunbeds, no need to reserve. Just a lovely chilled vibe. Most of the guests were a mix of English, Spanish, French, German. A more mature guest with a few young families, a great place to come if you want to chill. The area doesn’t have much going on, but the Ciutadella is 15 mins on the bus, and a beautiful place to visit - eat, drink, shop, explore.

My experience at the hotel was very disappointing. The treatment from most of the staff, except for the reception team (they were nice), was poor. The service was generally unfriendly and not welcoming at all (food & beverage staff). The food was disappointing. On top of that, our room was not properly cleaned, we had a technical issue in the room and they didn´t fixed after 2 days. Very disappointing experience and not what I expected. I will not be returning to Sagitario Hotels. The good thing is that we enjoyed the pool which was comfy and clean.

Perfection in every way! Check in was quick & the cold glass of cava was welcomed. The hotel isn’t large which was perfect for us, it is immaculately clean. Our room was a suite and just gorgeous so spacious, we had tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries in the bathroom. Bathrobe and slippers also provided. Drinking water was replenished daily by our amazing cleaner who did a great job. Bed was comfy & air con worked well. The pool is fantastic great access in for those less mobile and no sun bed wars at all. The outside bar / restaurant served a good selection of food & drinks and the staff were super lovely, service was great. As with the inside of the hotel the pool area and outside toilets were exactly the same spotlessly clean. Now the best bit! The food!! I am extremely well travelled & this has to be the best food I have had for dinner. So fresh, great selection & the dining area didn’t feel like a canteen ! It really was soooo good !!! The restaurant staff were very attentive and worked so hard and were very polite. The downstairs bar had about an hour of different entertainment most evenings. The only downside & it’s not even that bad of the holiday is how busy it gets in there with just one person taking orders and one making drinks at times we’re were left a while waiting but……… I think his name was Oscar behind the bar got to know us & looked over gave us a thumbs up to know we wanted another drink 🤣 Michelle (again I think her name was) worked so hard & was absolutely lovely. There isn’t a great deal outside the hotel, we got the bus a couple of times there are a couple of supermarkets but no bars in close proximity so it isn’t a lively area. You are right by the sea, we only went to the beach once due to the amount of seaweed but it’s a nice beach. I am already looking at coming back next year if the season wasn’t finishing soon I would be back this year! I have truly found the most perfect hotel in the most beautiful country that will now become my second home! You will not regret booking here - thank you hotel gran Sagatario

Just returned home from this lovely hotel. Rooms are spaces and very clean as are all the communal areas. Food is excellent lots of choice all cooked beautifully. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. We can't wait to return.
