Lago Resort Menorca - Suites de Lago

Had an amazing stay - our room, the facilities and staff weee first class throughout.

Good points Absolutely beautiful hotel with outstanding helpful lovely staff Room very very comfortable with everything you need and spotless Food in all restaurants we used was lovely moreso in the hotel and sister hotel than on the marina , cabanas etc all very nice and comfortable at the pool Pool beautiful and perfect temperature as well Bad After an early flight and over an hour from airport we arrived around 2pm but room wasn’t ready we had to wait an hour , we went for lunch and recieved a message when room was ready We booked for half board plus .. what happens then is you are given a voucher to use for dinner in any of hotel restaurants or associated restaurants on the marina in all restaurants you are then give. A particular menu for people on this plan , the food was always good but just to be aware that the menu is smaller Pool area was really beautiful and you are not allowed to reserve beds etc with personal belongings which again is a good thing however it does mean that people are out on cabanas from 8am and they pretty much all in use by 8.30 so you need to be up early to get one if you want one The loungers were very nice and comfortable however , for a 5star hotel they are very close together and really can’t be moved and same applies for the umbrellas which are embedded in to a large rock so position can’t be adjusted, if you don’t need shade then it’s fine but if u do these aren’t great so you need to be up early for a cabana All things considered I would consider returning here another time

Our 4th stay at Suites del Lago was again wonderful. While the property itself is gorgeous, what truly elevates this resort is its incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, every single member of the staff went above and beyond with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. A massive shoutout must go to Elena and Daniela at the Kaypa resturant, attentive, incredibly welcoming, and always ensuring our dining experience was flawless. They are absolute assets to the resort! The food here is excellent. As a wheelchair user, navigating resorts can often be hit-or-miss, but the wheelchair accessibility here was good. The resort layout was incredibly smooth and well-thought-out, allowing me to move around independently and comfortably without any of the usual stress. Sadly not the pool but I was aware of that before we went. Between accessibility, the mouth-watering cuisine, and the exceptional staff, I cannot recommend this resort enough. I will definitely be returning! Booked already for June 2027

Just returned from a wonderful week here with my husband. From start to finish it was absolutely perfect. The rooms were beautiful, staff amazing, food superb etc etc. Could not pick one single fault. The location is lovely too, being directly on the marina. We will absolutely be returning, most likely next year.

The hotel was fantastic as were the staff without exception. The only complaint about the hotel I could raise is that one day the hotel staff reserved 6 sunbeds for friends of the hotel owners! this was annoying as like many other guests we got up early each day to secure a sunbed by the pool and to find they had been reserved by 7am (against the rules and the hotels own signs) was frustrating. Many guests we inconvenienced and annoyed by this and it was made worse when the owners friends didn't even make an appearance. We were quite looking forward to seeing what VIP's were worth annoying paying customers for. I feel the owner unfairly put his staff in a very difficult position. Breakfast served in the FOC restaurant was exceptional as we lunch and dinner at Kaypa restaurant. We were a little disappointed at the quality of other restaurants in the resort (including those owned by the hotel) and felt the resort didn't feel authentically Menorcan. Overall I say the hotel is 5 star in a 3.5 star resort.
