Minura Sur Menorca

Na dovolené nás bylo celkem 9.Já,manžel,syn s manželkou,3 děti a synova tchýně s manželem.Dovolená byla úžasná.Hotel,služby,jídlo,pití-výborné.K hotelu patří mimo bazénů se sladkou vodou také akvapark s mořskou vodou.Pro děti a i pro dospělé-paráda.A co teprve hotelová animátorka Markétka-je to člověk na svém místě.Děti ji zbožňují.A její večerní disko pro prcky v akvaparku- to nemělo chybu.

We had a lovely two week stay at Sur Menorca! We were able to get in our room as soon as we checked in which was unexpected as we arrived well before the normal check in time. Room was lovely and clean. We paid for a sea view and we were very happy to be in the middle of the main block looking over the pool and out to the coast. Shower gel and hand soap provided and regularly topped up. Food was lovely, some other reviews commented on the food being repetitive but we didn’t find this was the case. All of the meat served was cooked beautifully, salad all fresh and everything was great. Staff in the restaurant were all great, especially Angel, Jessica, Carolina and Helen. All areas of the hotel and pool regularly cleaned and well kept. All other staff were all friendly and helpful. The cleaners always said good morning too and were very helpful. There is a bus stop outside the hotel for a bus into Mahon, the free bus to the beach in Punta Prima and the tourist train. Evening entertainment was excellent! We enjoyed a variety of shows including flamenco dancers, singers and an Abba tribute on our final night. Some of the entertainment was able to be held outside on the stage but weather sometimes dictates that it has to be inside. Overall we had a lovely two weeks and will visit again when we next go to Menorca.

We returned from our holiday a week ago and enjoyed our stay very much, everyone was great from reception to restaurant to bar staff, but a very special shout out to ALL the animation team , they were FANTASTIC and kept us entertained every day (&night) thank you to all of them, we will certainly be back !!!! We arrived about 1pm and got checked in quickly. Room wasn't ready until 2pm but we were given our wristbands and were able to use restaurant and bar. Pros Plenty of selections at mealtimes. Several cold meats and salad stuff, usually 2-3 different fish type, always pasta and various hot meats like chicken, beef and pork. A big pro for lots was a dedicated paella station. Tables cleared and cleaned as food finished and dining room staff always pleasant. Bars are well stocked and tended. Staff very good and some remember your drinks. Only 1 barman who looked unhappy but maybe just a tiring day. Rooms cleaned every day and clean towels on demand. Plenty of sunbeds at poolside and entertainment team are young but excellent and not too pushy if you don't want to join in daytime games. Con Only downside was that the food although plentiful, sometimes needed microwaved to heat up. In saying that, most was hot enough for most people. Yes we would return

When we arrived at our Hotel it didn’t look very appealing if I’m being completely honest. There are positives and negatives and because of this we would not return. The positives - Brilliant idea of the wrist band that you could open your room door with. The Wi-Fi was exceptionally good throughout the complex. You could see the room had recently been refurbished and was very clean. The Animation team were very good, very friendly and offered lots of activities during the day. The outsourced entertainment was good. The pool and gardens were well kept. The waiters/waitresses worked really hard and cleared tables very quickly and were very polite. The Negatives - (why we will not be returning) All Inclusive didn’t really work as we were expected to pay for bottles of water. The choice of cocktails was quite limited and we’re not presented how we would expect. The food at the restaurant was our biggest complaint Firstly there was not a great selection and sometimes we struggled to find something to eat. Unfortunately we experienced the food either being just luke warm or stone cold (and this is no exaggeration). We raised our concerns with management and after them checking in with us the next day to see if the issues were resolved we had to tell that they were not. We deliberately went at 7pm when doors opened but after the three of us chose different dishes they were all cold. We asked management to try a sample of the dishes and they confirmed they checked the temperature and confirmed that they were too cold. They then proceeded to remove and bring out fresh dishes. The management were surprised as they had lowered the heating lamps and that this had not helped resolve the issue. Although they tried to resolve somewhat they were unable to rectify and feel that this therefore was not value for the money we paid. We spoke to other British holiday makers who agreed that the food choices were very limited and that they had experienced cold food but were reluctant to complain. Lastly one major annoyance with our room was that our shower was extremely small. To be honest we have never seen such a small shower in all the our time travelling abroad.
