Prinsotel La Caleta

We’ve just came back from a 6 night break here and can’t praise the whole holiday more. We found this hotel to be perfect for us, the room was great (I booked a suite, so plenty of room) the breakfast was simply amazing, nothing missed ( porridge maybe but HEY ) The location was great too, it was literally a 3 min walk from a lovely little turquoise water bay that we swam in most days. Also just about 10 minute bus ride into the gorgeous city of Ciutadella. Staff were lovely and helpful too, organising a taxi and early breakfast on leave day. I have read some reviews that are less favourable but I don’t know what they were seeing, we thought standards were great and we have high standards I think 😄

We had a really lovely stay here. The resort itself is beautiful, but what stood out most to us was how friendly and helpful the staff were. A special thank you to Lachy. On our last night, I managed to leave my wallet in a taxi and thought there was a good chance I’d never see it again. Lachy was incredibly helpful, contacted the taxi driver for me and helped organise getting it back. She really saved us from a very stressful situation, and I’m extremely grateful. She was kind, calm and genuinely wanted to help. Lachy is a real credit to the hotel and I really hope the management sees this. Thank you again!

The location was excellent. Close to a small cove and near to the bus service and the town. The hotel had a calm atmosphere and it was also always possible to get a sunbed, even in the last week of August. Facilities were very good and the staff always helpful. Food was excellent with plenty of choice. The rooms were clean with plenty of storage and large showers. It was good value for money and bar prices were good. The whole hotel was well run and spotless. Would definitely return.

We have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel! It was our second holiday of the summer so we wanted to try something different to our usual 5 star Greece! We absolutely loved our holiday - our 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed the froggi club disco and we felt there was enough for him to do that we weren’t taking our toys out each evening. We booked a suite and would 100% return. A few days the room wasn’t cleaned and we were told the green light needed turning on so tip for anyone else going we’ve not known that before! Food was 1000/10 such good variety and not your standard hotel food. The only issue was not a lot of labels so my son has a dairy allergy and I have a nut allergy so we probably should have told them but we didn’t find the staff super friendly! That’s our only criticism - we arrived and went to main reception to be told (quite rudely) we were down the road. The reception staff in the suites area were lovely! We had a long wait for our room and our son screamed the entire time (over tired) but they did all they could to help! We did find some of the bar staff quite rude and abrupt but we wondered if that was with us being English and the majority of the hotel guests were Spanish or French! The transfer from the airport was about 40/45 mins in a private car and we loved exploring Ciutadella which the hotel recommended we got a taxi as cheaper than the bus and it was!
