Spa Sagitario Playa

Had a great week at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food and the service in the restaurant, especially the waiting staff, Federico, Laurea and Gustavo. The hotel was very clean. The spa was a great addition and very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again when we return to Menorca.

Just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday at Sagitario Playa Good food and Entertainment. Ideal for Senior Citizens to enjoy a holiday by the pool with plenty of Sunloungers Many thanks to the restaurant and Bar staff. Very efficient and always had a smile to welcome you.

We have been to Menorca regularly for over 20 years and this is our favourite resort. We decided to have a short break and stay at this hotel which we have never stayed in before but knew of its existence and excellent location. We hired a car and despite the street being a car park for the local car hire firm Owners Cars, we did get parked close by. Parking was tight every day due to this but not impossible. Our check in experience wasn't good. We were the only ones checking in but it took a long time as the receptionist was having a long private conversation on her mobile phone. The room was comfortable and spacious, bathroom was old and could do with refurbing. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. There was a spacious terrace which we did use every day. Room cleaning was not good on the first day as the bathroom sink was not wiped down and the bins were not emptied. After this it was ok. The pool area was very nice and a good place to chill in the afternoon after coming back from the beach which is only a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast at the hotel was very good with a wide selection of food available. All in all we did enjoy our stay here and we will return and do recommend

We had great expectations before arriving at the Sagitario Playa in Menorca due to the previous reviews. But I have to say after staying in many hotels, this is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 3 plus. We found the pool area quite dirty due to cat and bird droppings, no lifeguard and only basic pool maintenance that we observed, the food was average/good but not with the range we’ve experienced in other 4 star hotels. The room was good but we did pay for a superior room over looking the pool. This is only a personal opinion based on our experience so others may disagree, but we were quite disappointed with the hotel and the general atmosphere. We will not be returning and will look elsewhere in the future.

Really like this hotel! The room was spotlessly clean. Huge comfortable bed and pillows. Quality towels and bedding changed regularly. Small fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and useful toiletries. WiFi and much needed air-con included in price. Our room was overlooking the pool and above the bar. The music from the bar didn't bother us as we were usually in the bar most nights until the music ended. Lovely pool and lots of sunloungers. Need to watch out for the doves if under a tree! The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel with an amazing choice. Also a good and varied choice for the evening meals. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. There's several supermarkets and restaurants close by. A short walk to the small sandy beach and a bus stop close to the hotel. Information for the bus service at reception. Cala Blanca is a small, quiet resort. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are wanting a relaxed holiday but not the resort if you're wanting a bit more nightlife.
