TUI BLUE Victoria Menorca

Hotel je přímo u 300m dlouhé písčité pláže malebné vesničky Santo Tomas na jihu ostrova. Hotel má 250 pokojů, ale i při plné obsazenosti působí klidným dojmem díky adults-only modelu. Ve všech prostorách i na pokoji je vzorně čisto a klid. Neruší žádné hlasité animace. U bazénu je dostatek lehátek jakož i možnost si lehnout do stínu vzrostlých stromů na zahradě. A na pláž je od branky jen 30 metů. Běžný dvoulůžkový pokoj s balkonem je prostorný a má minibar. Nevyužili jsme možnost all-inclusive, polopenze nám vyhovovala, protože cena nápojů je přiměřená. Snídaně jsou opuletní co výběru včetně místních specialit, včetně čerstvého smootie a nechybí ani cava. Věčeře byly vynikající, bohaté co do výběru předkrmů, hlavních jídel i dezertů. Lze sedět uvnitř klimatizovaného sálu i venku. Obsluha je milá a pozorná. Od hotelu je příjemná procházka na sousední pláže Son Bou. Hotel můžeme jen doporučit a rádi se vrátíme zas.

We’ve just enjoyed a week at this hotel. It’s in a good location, at the very edge of Santo Tomás and a few paces from the sea. It is a very well-run and efficient place. We had a suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. We don't use hotel pools, instead we based ourselves on a large lawned area which was peaceful and relaxing. The quality of the food is good. We’re old folk who much prefer a la carte dining in the evenings than the hurly burly of a buffet, but the hotel looked tempting and so we gave it a try. There is a once-a-week option of dining on the rooftop and it was very good indeed. We used the snack bar most lunchtimes, run by the excellent Wamba. The staff members throughout the hotel are fantastic. They are all helpful, fun and friendly. In fact, we consider them the best we have encountered anywhere. (Five stars to Jessica and Sami at the bar) One thing we disliked — and others may have a different opinion — was that a few people just wore a bathing costume at lunchtime in the snack bar. Bare bellies in a dining room is not a good look and disrespectful to others. A dress code needs to be enforced. Just put on a T-shirt. In summary, we cannot fault the hotel or its staff. We had a great week in a nice location. Younger people will likely have a different perspective to us. If the hotel had a more tranquil dining option for the evenings — as many now do — we would definitely return. And perhaps we will anyway.

This was our first stay in a TUI blue hotel and was a very nice stay for 4 nights. We were greeted warmly with a glass of cava. The rooms weren’t ready but we did arrive at 11am. We were asked to return at 12 noon, the staff turned the room quick so we could start our vacation. We were in room 109, double bed with a partial ocean view. Nice clean room with a great shower. There was hand soap,shower gel and shampoo provided. There was a fridge with a bottle of pink cava, 2 beers, 4 bottle of pop and 2 bottles of water. This was replenished every day apart from the cava. There was a kettle with tea and coffee. Beach towels were also provided from reception. We stayed on an all inclusive basis. Only one al a carte per stay. The food was nice, there were 3 choices for each course. The buffet…. Breakfast had an egg station, boiled, poached, fried or omelettes. Plenty of of fruits, pastries, cereal, meats and cheese. All very fresh and replenished quickly. Buffet lunch again was fresh and replenished quickly lots of salad choices, meats cheese, breads, fish, cooked meats and desserts. Snack bar lunch, this was ordered from a menu. Plenty of choices from ceasar salad, pasta dishes or chicken wings. All cooked fresh to order. Buffet dinner, again lots of breads, meats, cheese, soup, cooked meat, pasta and cooking stations. Good choice of desserts and fruits. Drinks. The house wines were good, sangria nice, could have by the glass or order a jug to share. Only had one cocktail a Singapore sling which was ok, I just find them too sweet for me. The only other we had was the house brandy, again it was fine. Staff…. The staff here were friendly and attentive. It was nice to see the staff not ran off their feet. The tall guy that works the rooftop terrance was really nice, he remember our after dinner coffee and brandy order. We didn’t participate in any of the activities but again the staff weee friendly and guest praised the stretch and yogi classes. Pools, cleans but warm with the 35 degree weather. The guy that tidied the beds in the evening did a great job. Plenty of umbrellas too. There is access to the beach via the gate at then end of the hotel. Not sunbed unless you hired them privately. The beach itself was soft sand and calm waters. We would definitely go again for a mini break.

Once again we had an amazing stay at TUI Blue Victoria. We have been visiting the hotel for the last 28 years & have seen many changes over the years! Definitely for the best now it is adults only. We have made many friends ( some who still work there) over our visits & feel many are like family. The hotel is amazing, the staff are so friendly & nothing is too much trouble. From checking in to checking out, it was fabulous! Big shout out to Jamie on reception, Nicolas in the restaurant, Wamba in the bar & Ramadan on night duties. Also to every other member of staff who work so hard to make your holiday special, they always have a smile & a hola! The hotel is so clean, everywhere is spotless, the food is beautiful & so many choices at every meal. The culinarium restaurant on the roof is a special evening, which if all inclusive you get to visit once while your there. The food, service & sunsets are something special. We love the choice of outside dining for breakfast & evening meal. The entertainment team work hard doing the daily activities etc. The evening entertainment had a good mix of acts over the week. There are always plenty of sunbeds available, no mad rush on a morning & a choice of around the pool or in the garden area. The beach is a stones throw from the garden, so lovely to have both options for a cooling dip. We cannot fault the hotel & the amazing staff, we have already booked for our 29th visit next year!! This was our second visit for ourselves and friends in July and we were not disappointed , from the moment we arrived very welcoming staff to greet us and check us in , the most amazing bar staff who work extremely hard throughout the day and night , the cleanliness of all areas was spotlessly clean , the food choice and presentation was always extremely good and waiters and waitresses very attentive and hard working , entertainment was very good also , we would definitely recommended this hotel , and look forward to visiting you again in the future !!
