We arrived at Vibre Blanc Cottages on 22/09/25 at 1040 and went to reception to check in, we were advised that our room was not ready and we may have to wait 4 to 8hours for our room, the receptionist Rafelle advised that we had to pay the local tax and then wait for our room. We paid the tax and took a seat in reception, we watched the tui coach load of people behind us all get their rooms and throughout the next nearly four hours, four coaches turn up and all guests get their rooms. It got to 1315 and as a cancer patient I have chemo injections that I have to take, they need to be kept cool in a refrigerator, so I asked if they had a fridge that reception could store my chemo injection in whilst we wait for our room, the injection only has a 12 hour life outside of a fridge and it had been out of one keeping cool with ice packs in my medipen kit since 0300, they did put it in the reception fridge. It got to 1425 and finally Rafelle called Adrian to the desk to give him our room key, she said, here's your apartment keys, but if you don't like it, though we have no other apartments available. I thought that's a weird thing to say and why are we being treated differently to other customers, when we have booked a Tui package holiday, like everyone who had got their rooms. We went to room 3143, went in to have a look and realised that the apartment hadn't been cleaned that well, we had no towels or glasses in the room. Reception had given us no information about the resort, any restaurants or how to call reception, so I messaged on the app to say we have no towels in the apartment, the rep advised that the resort do not provide towels, I said really so you don't provide towels for the room for showering in the mornings or at night. Maria the rep said the towels were 10 euro each. I questioned it again and said not beach towels, towels for everyday showering. Finally the cleaning lady came and gave us some clean towels for the room and glasses. The room looked very dirty with debris all over the floor and lots of flies in the room, when I say lots I mean flying around the room and constantly landing all over you, round your face and not leaving you alone. As my husband was told no other apartments and we had waited hours for this one we had no choice but to unpack. We unpacked our clothes and food and drinks into the fridge that we had bought with us, along with my chemo injection. My husband was desperate for a shower as we had now been travelling since 1am and it was now 5pm. He went to get in the shower and the shower door didn't close properly, he then went to try the shower and the shower handle that you use to operate the shower came off in his hand, so he couldn't have a shower as it was unusable. He then went to use the toilet and the toilet seat was broken and loose, we then opened the drawer to put toiletries in and the whole inside of the drawer was mouldy with spores in it and paint hanging off. The door hinge on the toilet door was broken and the bottom of the bathroom door was wet and mouldy for about a foot up. At this point we went to the kitchenette to make a cup of tea and when I went to fill the kettle the tap was loose and wobbly and nearly came off in my hand, it was that lose it had split the work top, the worktop was all soft and wet, so the tap had been leaking for ages, the water that came out had long black particles in it and was not clear, so not fit for use. We then checked the hob and found that it was loose and the extractor fan didn't work at all, by that time we had had enough of everything in the room not working or falling apart and went out to eat and bought bottled water to use. By the time we got back it was late and we were so tire, had a long day and been up since 1am so we got ready for bed, only to find we went to get in to bed and the bed frames were so creaky that every time you you moved it was noisy, too noisy to sleep. At this point it was late and so we moved all our bedding to the lounge and slept on the uncomfortable sofa. We woke up the next day to find that the fridge had leaked water all over the floor and packed up working, there was loads of water all over our food, so it was all ruined and needed to be thrown away, also my chemo injection had got warm and was not fit to use as dangerous, so had to be thrown away, not ideal when you are a cancer patient and reliant on chemo. We opened the cutlery drawer to find next to no cutlery and lots of dirt and debris in the drawer, so we decided not to have breakfast in our apartment. My husband then went to open the patio doors to let some air in and flie's out, to find the patio doors were not locked and did not lock, again not ideal as we are on ground floor next to a main road. By this point we had been at Vibra Blanc Cottages for over 24hrs and not been able to shower, sleep properly or eat in our apartment as not fit for purpose, so my husband Adrian went to reception to talk to them with regards to all the faults and broken elements in our room. He told reception about the fridge and the receptionist said, it's normal, it's condensation, he said is it normal to have puddles of water on the floor and on the shelves and warm food? to which she replied, yes she has the same at home. My husband said REALLY? This is not normal at all, he told her about the broken shower, the beds, the broken tap in kitchenette and hob and extractor fan and the patio doors and she didn't say anything, she didn't even apologise, there was just no comment from reception at all, until she finally said, they have no other rooms at all and if there happened to be one available, it would not be until Wednesday at the earliest, she then ignored Adrian and started talking to the next person waiting to speak to reception. Adrian came back to our room and told me, this was Tuesday at 1200 by then. Later that afternoon around 2pm someone came to check the fridge, who didn't speak english, so i used google translate to communicate, the maintenance man said the fridge is broken and he went away and came back an hour later with a new fridge. In the process of changing the old fridge for the new one, when the maintenance man pulled out the old fridge, there were a load of mouldy food, dead flies and alive flies that flew out like a swarm from the area, also the kick board from the cupboard fell off to reveal mouldy food underneath and the kick board was swollen, wet and mouldy due to water leakage.over a long period of time from leaking fridge and loose tap. Then another maintenance man came around an hour later to fix the patio doors and the tap, he was unable to fix the kitchenette tap and did a bodge job as the hole in the worktop was too big, where the worktop had rotted. He then tried to fix the hob and extractor and said he couldn't do it and it was not able to be used. He then went to the bathroom to fix the toilet seat and could not do that as the fixings were completely ripped off the porcelain. By this point we couldn't leave the room as we had nowhere to secure our personal belongings if we were to go out, plus wanted to be there to check that maintenance were fixing everything that we had listed (which they couldn't as some of it non fixable) and couldn't speak english, so we had to translate everything. The maintenance man went off to get a new shower and came back a few hours later, the new shower unit was a different make, so he was hitting it with a hammer to make it fit badly. Then he said he was going off to buy two new beds and never returned that day. By this stage it was the end of day 2 so we had lost two days of our holiday, thoroughly annoyed and unable to use our kitchenette, we had to go out again to eat. The purpose of booking the apartment with a kitchenette was so we could use it to cook as I struggle with not having a stomach, due to removal from cancer and cannot eat certain foods. Tuesday evening at 2030 we got back to our apartment both extremely upset with regards to all of the above and decided to contact Tui Customer Services UK number. I spoke to a lady called Carmen on the telephone, who listened, apologised and said that this is definitely not acceptable, the room should not have been given to any customers. Carmen advised she would call the Vibra Blanc Cottages and ask to speak to a Manager to see what could be done, I asked Carmen to call me back and let me know what would happen next. Around 20 minutes later Carmen called me back and advised that we were to go to reception on Wednesday morning at 0830 to speak to a Manager, who would have two other rooms available for us to see, to see if they would be acceptable options for us to move to. On Wednesday at 0900 Adrian went to reception and spoke to the Reception Manager, who was not accommodating at all, no apology for all of the problems with the room, Adrian showed her the videos and photos we had taken of all the issues with the room, she was just blank faced and rude to him, shrugged her shoulders and said there were no rooms available and she had no authority to move us. Adrian asked to see the Resort Manager and she said No and refused to give the name of the Resort Manager to him. The Reception Manager then paused and said come back to reception after 1000 as the Resort Manager was in a meeting. Wednesday 1100 we both went back to reception as advised to speak to the Resort manager, who was not available again. The reception manager just ignored us, so we spoke to another receptionist with regards to the issues we have had and the reception manager was smirking and laughing at us, the young receptionist we spoke to apologised to us for the problems we are having with the room we are in, she then spoke on spanish to the reception manager, we don't know what was said as we don't speak spanish. The young receptionist then told us to come back after 4pm as they would work on trying to move us to another room, but made no promises as she advised that the hotel was fully booked. Again another day ruined so three days of our holiday ruined and still waiting for a room that is usable and functional. We didn't hold out much hope as they said they didn't have the authority to move us and refused to give us the name of the Resort or Hotel Manager. ( At this point I don't believe there was one). We asked the receptionist to call us later that day with the information, rather than having to go to reception all the time. Wednesday early evening we got a telephone call when we were out in a supermarket to advise that they had another room for us to move to and that it was the only one available. We went back to reception and collected the keys. We went to room 3413 to find no power was on, lucky my husband was able to check the fuse board and switch the power on, so the fridge again was warm as power off, so needed time to get cold. The bed frames were squeaky and noisy, which they did replace, the shower was broken, but my husband fixed it. The room was an improvement and the kitchenette was usable, so we decided to move to that room. Wednesday evening was spent moving all our stuff from room 3143 to room 3413, which took up the evening, as on the other side of the resort and we had to wait for maintenance to come and change the bed frames. We also advised that the room had not been properly cleaned as urine stains on the bathroom floor around the toilet. The cleaner, when she did come, only changed the towels, made the beds, emptied the bin and swept the floor. No mopping or washing the floor or disinfectant anywhere, which surprised us seeing as we have been through Covid. Only on 25th Sept did we actually get to shower, as we had not had one that worked. We had to strip wash for nearly 4 days, not ideal at all, especially in 25 degrees. Only on day 4 out of 7 did we get and get our holiday started
I came away with just myself and my 10yr old daughter, weve had a brilliant time. 1st off the coach drops you off at the main hotel entrance which is the palace, you have to pay 23.99 tax, we were given a 1st floor room 3130 right by the pools, in vibra cottages room was very clean, no issues, weather was amazing, the bar, kids club and restaurant are all around the pool, ive added pictures of the prices of the food the offer at the bar and drinks, LUZ is an amazing bar tender and her measures are letal, she must never have a day off, shes always there with her beautiful smile, I walked over to there onsite mini market but it was so basic, there is a small supermarket just 10 min walk ran by an English lady, if you walk through the restaurant down the steps to the private beach, back up the steps and turn right, follow the road around, you'll see a green pharmacy sign keep walking then as the road Bends round its on the left, sells everything you'll need, just before the shop there is a set of steps leading to the beach you will see in all the hotel pics, again ive added the bar food and drinks menus, the bar is called hopi bar and food is lovely, there's a grill restaurant just b4 the beach, on Saturday they do a buffet, 30 and adult 15 for kids, Back to the hotel, cleaners came every morning, always asked if we wanted clean towels, the evening entertainment is at the main palace hotel and is great, they had an mj group on from south Africa who were amazing, they do quizzes, karaoke ect, they also do activities daily around the pool, there's loads of pool tables and claw machines, and the kids club is full of board games ect, so honestly loads to do, everyone's kids were brilliant, my daughter made so many great friends, I too made friends with a lush grouo of girls, hi Kate, Abbey, Alison Id absolutely come back here, due to being on my own I didn't venture out far, but many did and said the town was beautiful and had a good few bars amd restaurants for things to do on an evening, Thank you to all the great staff, sorry I dont remember all your names but we had a brilliant time thanks to you all See you guys soon The tattooed lady x
After reading some reviews before coming here - we decided to bite the bullet and book. THE literal best decision we could have ever made. The whole week was bliss - this hotel is an absolute hidden gem. The entire staff, the entertainment team, the bar staff were out of this world. I will be back without a single doubt. Do not be put off with any reviews you may read before you come. A very special shout out to the incredible Jose Luis who went out of he’s way to spoil us - sending you all our love Katie & Layla xxx
We travelled to Menorca with Tui and we stayed for a week in this hotel. Our room was on the edge of the grounds a perfect spot as we were 3 minutes to the beach. The room had a few issues it was dusty a bit dated and some sockets didn't work. But after I spoke with reception issues were sorted promptly. As two couples we thought the location was fantastic the grounds were wonderful the only thing that lets this hotel down is the food. It's not horrible it's just boring and repetitive. Breakfast was good you always had something nice. They cooked fresh omelettes, had fresh fruit and bread etc... But the dinners were a bit uninspiring for example every night they had a paella of some sort. Ok 2 or 3 times but not every night. They just need help with menu selections. You can get a cab for about 6 to 8 euros into Ciutadella which is beautiful (the bus goes there too for 1.60 euro) but otherwise around and about it's very residential.
I came with my son and my friend and her son who is in a wheelchair...had a ground floor apartment which was very clean on arrival.variety of entertainment by the pool and evening..i did eat by the pool bar and the food was very reasonable and tasty. The staff that I came across were very friendly. Staying at this hotel you have shops and restaurants near by..taxi very reasonable price to town it is walkable but as we had a wheelchair the pavements are not wheelchair friendly.. I am coming back especially for Dieago (bar man) his cocktails were amazing..🍹🍹
