Rove Al Marjan Island

I had an enjoyable stay at Rove, and overall, it was a great experience. The check-in process was smooth, quick, and hassle-free. A special thank you to Kee Ron and Youssef at reception, who were exceptional. They were welcoming, informative, and genuinely helpful, making a wonderful first and last impression. I do have a few constructive suggestions that I hope will help enhance the guest experience. Firstly, the breakfast service could be more attentive when it comes to table clearance. During both mornings of my stay, I noticed that used plates were often left on tables even when staff were nearby. Only one lady, who was wearing blue gloves, consistently cleared tables proactively. The other team members were friendly but seemed to focus mainly on setting new tables rather than clearing occupied ones. As a result, many guests had dirty plates piling up on their small tables, which made dining less comfortable. I observed this even when breakfast was not busy, so I imagine it could become more noticeable during peak hours. Secondly, the pillows were not very comfortable for me. It would be great if the hotel could offer guests a choice of softer pillows or a pillow menu to suit different sleeping preferences. Lastly, I noticed that the pool area could be maintained more proactively. On several occasions, tables were left with trash and used items from previous guests, and I found myself cleaning the table before I could use it. Since the pool attendant is present most of the time, it would be helpful if they could notify the public area housekeeping team whenever multiple tables require clearing. This would help keep the pool area clean and welcoming throughout the day. Despite these points, I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel's atmosphere, friendliness of all the team member, and efficient check-in made for a pleasant experience. With a little more attention to breakfast and pool cleanliness, I believe the guest experience would be even better. I would happily stay again.

During our stay, Yousuf was exceptional and very kind. Although we were booked for 36 hours, we were unable to complete our stay due to prior commitments, but Yousuf truly made our short time in Ras Al Khaimah one to remember. Erika from the All-Day Dining breakfast team was also exceptional and very approachable and attentive. However, the food experience could be improved. The hashbrowns were quite oily, the croissants were too hard (considering we came around 8am), and the pancakes were served cold. On a positive note, the omelette and acai bowl was really well prepared and enjoyable. Overall, the experience was amazing, largely thanks to Yousuf who made it truly memorable!

Our overall stay was exceptional. We truly had fun and enjoyed the beach and pool facilities. Special thanks to Simon from FO, Teddy from the Pool Bar, Erika and Barb's from the Breakfast Area, and Kunjesh and the HSK Team. Their prompt service and warm hospitality made our stay even more wonderful. As a suggestion for improvement, the Wi-Fi speed in the room was quite slow. We also hope that the TVs will have built-in Netflix and YouTube applications in the future, which would further enhance the guest experience.
