Riu Sri Lanka

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Hotel RIU! The food was amazing, and Mr. Marshall and his team provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making our experience comfortable and enjoyable. We especially loved the fantastic setup for enjoying cocktails and mocktails in the swimming pool. The live music performances at night created a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, making our stay even more memorable. We truly appreciated every moment of our stay and would be delighted to visit again. Highly recommended!

The hotel has many good things about it- the bar staff were excellent and remembered your drink orders, the food was really good, rooms were looked after and clean (and air con was great) and the adult only pool was clean and a great place to spend the day. However it is not a 5 star as the entertainment in the hotel was really awful- one of the worst lots of evening entertainment I have experienced across the world. The quality was very low, the production was Low level. (Only exception was the ABBA show on Saturday). Every day was bad especially the Bingo- one of worst ways to play bingo I have ever seen. For them to be a real 5 star hotel designed for international tourists they need to sort the entertainment as everything else was good except that.

My Husband and I had a wonderful vacation at RIU Ahungalla. Githmi, who served us in the main restaurant, was absolutely amazing! She was always friendly, helpful, attentive, and welcoming. Her warm smile and excellent service made our dining experience extra special. She is a real credit to the hotel and deserves recognition for her outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Githmi, for making our stay even more memorable! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Riu Sri Lanka! The hotel was beautiful, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Gihan, our bartender, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and dedicated to his work. He always went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great experience. His positive attitude and outstanding service made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel and great staff. Special shout out to janaka and julini but they all deserve to be mentioned as they were all so friendly and helpful. Massive and delicious choice of food . Great pools and pool bar. A fabulous stay and can definitely recommend a stay there
