Lindner Grand Hotel - Beau Rivage

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Beau Rivage in Interlaken was an experience we’ll always treasure. The hotel boasts a classic elegance and is set in a stunning location, offering both beauty and a sense of serenity. However, what truly set our visit apart was the warm and exceptional hospitality. A special thanks to Sarah at the front desk, whose welcoming smile and meticulous attention to detail ensured that every part of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Her genuine care and effort to make our children feel happy and comfortable did not go unnoticed. We’re also incredibly grateful to Ciara in the breakfast restaurant. Her positive energy and attentive service made each morning a delight. She went out of her way to inform Asian guests about the availability of additional menu items that catered to our tastes. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy a homely Indian breakfast — a thoughtful touch that meant a lot. If you’re visiting Interlaken, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its comfort, exceptional service, and the incredible staff who make you feel completely at ease.

This was one of if not the worst “high-end” hotel I’ve ever visited. We stayed in the Pyramid Suite for 1200 CHF/nt. Nowhere on the website does it state that there are NO WINDOWS! There is a large pyramid ceiling that you can see some trees on the side of the mountain. There are no views of the river or beautiful mountains of Interlakken. In addition, the buffet is absolutely terrible. The eggs were runny, the sausage was dry, and much of the other food look uneditable. I would highly recommend you chose another hotel in Interlakken

Incredible hotel. Gorgeous architecture. Huge breakfast buffet with fancy coffee drinks made to order and champagne included. We were upgraded for free upon arrival and had a huge room with a view of the snow covered mountains and luxury amenities. Beautiful walking path next to the hotel along the river and five minute walk to the funicular at Harder Kulm. The staff could not have been more kind. I got sick when I was there (not the hotel's fault) and they shuttled me back and forth to the hospital several times at no charge and even reimbursed my husband for a taxi when he returned to the hotel after the shuttle stopped running. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Beau-rivage! We will return and I won't get sick next time so I can enjoy your beautiful hotel and incredible hospitality more fully.

Please know that there is no air conditioning. I did not realize that or I never would have booked this hotel. It was hot. They gave us fans. The staff was very professional, courteous, and attentive. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. The location was convenient. But be aware that there is no air conditioning.

Grand old hotel. Beautiful common spaces, wonderful breakfast, friendly, attentive staff-including front desk, dining room, even housekeeping -who knock each evening delivering little (pre packaged) cakes. Unfortunately the guest rooms leave little to be desired. While clean, They are sparsely decorated with dated, decrepit furniture. Lighting, too, is sparse so very dark in the evenings. There is very little ventilation, so even on chilly nights we were forced to leave a window cracked open just to have some air flow. No A/C for sure but not even a fan system-although there was a portable fan in the closet. The bedding -sheets and blankets are nice. Bathrooms were updated in the last decade and clean but look piecemeal. Also the shower is inside a very tall tub which felt hazardous to get in and out of. Maybe this was worthy of 4-stars 25 years ago, but not even close now. Disappointing as one expects a but more pizazz when spending over $700 per night.
