Hotel Gstaaderhof

Nice hotel situated in Gstaad, but nothing special. Small lobby with one elevator which was usually packed. Make sure you ask for an upper room with a balcony. Our first room was unacceptable on the first floor with a view of a dilapidated barn. Probably won’t stay there again. Not worth taking photos.

My wife and I were en route to family based in Zug taking the opportunity to have a few days in the mountains. We have been to the area before on a walking holiday and we thought it nice to return. We were not disappointed. The hotel was very welcoming and we had a comfortable/well appointed room. We were 'fed and watered' to a very high standard. The hotel has good spa facilities. If you are akken walker there are some excellent trails in the area. We took a bus to Lauenensee and walked back to Gstaad. Also worth a visit is the Col de Pilon .............views from the top were exceptional.

The hotel is in a great location and provides a lovely experience where you know that you are in a family owned and managed business. The staff genuinely make great efforts to meet every need with a smile.

Service was very indifferent. Wifi horribly slow. No Air con in the room and opening your windows will let mosquitoes in. Can’t win.

A great hotel! Excellent location and really good quality of services. Hope we’ll be there again soon!
