yes,perfect! But until the next day the people staying above us at 6.30am was already pulling chairs back and forth :( it is so irritating. Cleanliness was good. Staff was very helpful, around pass 11pm out electricity was shut dowm, the staff came and fixed the problem immediately. The breakfast buffet was really good.

The room is not suitable for a summer stay. There is no air conditioning, and during the day the room becomes very hot, especially if it receives direct sunlight. While the outside temperature cools at night, the only way to get fresh air is to open the windows. Unfortunately, the windows do not have insect screens (fly screens/mosquito screens), so opening them allows flies and other insects into the room. Keeping the windows closed makes the room hot and stuffy, while opening them results in bugs flying inside. There is simply no comfortable solution. If you are visiting during the summer or are sensitive to heat, I would recommend choosing a hotel with air conditioning. The hotel’s location is challenging if you are relying on public transportation. The local bus service is infrequent (generally once an hour, and even less frequent around lunchtime), with the last buses ending relatively early in the evening (around 7 p.m.). The surrounding roads are also quite steep and hilly, making walking to and from the hotel difficult. Although the hotel offers a shuttle, it is only available for check-in and check-out, not during your stay. The nearest train station is only about a 5-minute taxi ride away, but taxis are surprisingly expensive—approximately CHF 30 during the day and CHF 40 at night. Unless you have your own car, transportation can be inconvenient and costly.

So disappointing to see the DJ being hidden away. The atmosphere has become completely sterilized! It feels like someone just put on a Spotify playlist through cheap speakers. Relocating the DJ was the wrong decision, sorry to say. Huus was always one of my favorite places to be because of its unique vibe and energy, but that decision has really let it down.

A truly great stay at HUUS Gstaad — one of the best 4-star hotels I’ve experienced. The rooms are spacious; I stayed in a suite with a beautiful chalet-style design. The lobby is very well laid out and offers stunning views over the Wispile, making it a perfect spot for sunset in summer. A few areas could be improved: while the breakfast is very complete, some products could be of higher quality, and the same applies to the main restaurant. The lobby can also be quite lively due to the DJ, which may not suit those looking for a quieter atmosphere — though it’s ideal if you enjoy a more vibrant setting. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a place I would return to.

Came here on a family trip with my husband and 9 year old daughter and had a great experience. Only stayed here 2 nights, but here are my overall thoughts. Transportation: The town is small and the hotel has 2 vans they use to help transport hotel guests. They will pick you up from the Saanen train station, but be sure to call in advance to plan for it. They can take you to the train station too, but again you need to tell them in advance. If you can't get a hotel van, they can call a taxi for you. Hotel Rooms: We had a one bedroom with a loft. Our daughter loved the loft. The space was limited and it wasn't comfortable with our 2 big suitcases, but we made it work. The bed was very hard and pillows very thin. I'm from Texas and am not used to no bed sheets and just a comforter. Rooms have a heater you don't control, so open the window if you need more air. Food: We ate in the restaurant and ordered from the bar menu. I have celiac disease and appreciated that they had gluten free bread and pasta. Both were really good. My daughter loved her pasta and my husband had a good burger. The cheese on the burger is specific to Switzerland and not a taste he is used too, but okay. Staff was nice and accommodating. I liked the service. The breakfast was good. Plenty of egg and meat options with pastries and cereals. Even I found a delicious gluten free corn flakes cereal I liked. Atmosphere: I loved the modern eclectic vibe. The hotel smelled clean and looked nice. Our room had no issues for me to complain about. No noise issues like the other reviewer had. We were on the 3rd floor.
