The Hey Hotel

Lovely hotel a short easy walk from Interlarken West train station, slightly further from Ost. Nice quite room with a small balcony. Very average air conditioner, room also has a fan if required. Comfortable bed. Shower in bath, water temperature was difficult to control. No in room fridge unfortunately. Breakfast was excellent. Reception staff were very helpful. Happy to recommend.

Pricey hotel but in line with the area. Comfortable room, luggage storage, nice breakfast, a/c, close to train, shopping etc…. But one big design flaw. We stayed in a family room with 2 teens. The bathroom door is glass with the toilet just on the other side. Without constructing a barricade you could watch the whole family use the bathroom from the bed.

The rooms are clean, modern, and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is good, and the location makes it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and transport.

Very bad experience. The staff attitude was not good at all, and they did not provide the things we asked for. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service and behavior were disappointing. There was no kettle/tefal in the room either. I do not recommend this hotel. In the end, we even moved to another hotel on the last day.

I booked this hotel based on positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered the check-in area, the atmosphere felt dark and unwelcoming—our first red flag. The second issue was that the rooms did not have phones to contact the front desk, which made communication inconvenient and concerning. The biggest problem, however, was the condition of the room. As soon as we entered, we noticed a damp, dusty environment that immediately triggered allergic reactions. We started wheezing and had difficulty breathing, which made it impossible to stay. We went back to the front desk right away and decided to leave. Thankfully, since we had booked through a U.S.-based travel company, we were able to get a refund. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
