I had a wonderful break having to stay at Anantara Koh Yao Yai for 2 nights with my sister and friend. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless — check-in was conveniently done at Anantara's lounge located at Laem Sai Pier, which made the journey smooth from the start. While waiting for the speedboat departure time, guests could enjoy the snacks and beverages served at the lounge. We had to take the speedboat from Laem Sai Pier, Phuket to Koh Yao Yai which takes about 35 - 40 mins ride. Once at Koh Yao Yai, the staffs were there to greet us and arranged the transfer to the resort by buggy. Once at the resort, we were brought to the reception area and waited to be escorted to our room. Improvement can be made with the service though. The staff who "hosted" us explained to us his role and gave brief introduction of the facilities that were located near the reception area. After much persuasion from the staff (from his up-selling), we made reservation to have seafood buffet dinner at the resort that same evening. He even informed us that the buggy will pick us up at the agreed time but the buggy never came. We ended up walking to the restaurant to have our dinner. Overall, the resort itself is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway particularly for families with children. The rooms and facilities were excellent, but what truly made this stay memorable was the outstanding service from one of the F&B staff members by the name of Ging. The staff member was incredibly attentive, friendly, and well taken care of throughout our meals. Her warmth and professionalism stood out and added a personal touch to our stay. The next morning, we walked to the beach and it was low tide. We were lucky to catch the sunrise considering it was cloudy the night before.

The whole experience incredible. One of a kind hotel. The food is really great but the real highlight is the service at the restaurants from all the staff specially SAI and OME. Great leader Rahul. But everyone was outstanding. Totally recommend to visit this hotel.

Most spectacular resort I’ve ever stayed at. From the room, to the pool, to the picture perfect beach, this place is a dream. And complimented by the highest quality service. Just wonderful!
