The Hotel is a great resort with everything you need within the resort itself and excursions provided by hotel around, we took a moped to the amazing beach and boat trip to the surrounding islands Shout out to Chef Chris!! He is awesome and made the trip feel special to us! Plus the spice school thai cooking class was great!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at this beautiful resort, and it was one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had. Although our stay was in January 2025, I apologise for writing this review so late. The wonderful hospitality and kindness we received truly deserve to be recognised. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. As part of our GHA DISCOVERY membership benefits, we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade from a Sea View Suite to a Sea View Pool Suite. It was a wonderful surprise and made our anniversary even more special. Waking up to beautiful ocean views and having our own private pool was simply amazing. The island itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning beaches. It truly feels like a private paradise where you can relax and enjoy nature while experiencing great comfort and luxury. One of the best parts of our stay was our wonderful villa host, Suchawadee Srisamut, also known as Hana. She was amazing throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she always helped us with a smile and genuine kindness. Her attention to detail and warm personality made us feel very special. She played a big part in making our anniversary unforgettable, and we are truly grateful to her. The food was also excellent. Every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavour, with a great selection of drinks. We especially enjoyed the in-room dining experience. Everything was beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. During our stay, we also explored the island and enjoyed the elephant safari, which was a wonderful experience and gave us another special memory from our trip. What makes this resort truly special, however, is its people. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to Hana and the entire team for making our wedding anniversary so special. We left with beautiful memories and hope to return again in the future.

Lovely hotel,the food the staff super amazing the manager Suzanne is the best made sure my family and I were comfortable.. The food and bev manage was equally to the task kept my beef bacon coming. Aryan the waiter was the best made it easy to understand the menu speaks good English for easy communication. All in all good experience the only downside they don't have a clinic on site

This was our second stay at Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort, and it was just as memorable as the first. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Joe and the entire Front Office Team for making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Their warm smiles, professionalism, and attention to every detail made all the difference. Every interaction felt personal, effortless, and sincere, creating a level of service that truly reflects the Anantara brand. We would also like to thank the team at The Beach Restaurant for making every breakfast such an enjoyable experience. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality dishes, and every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and provided exceptional service each morning. Our second visit only confirmed why we chose to return. Thank you to everyone for another wonderful staywe’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We booked our stay, then extended it twice, and still wished we could have stayed longer. Ten nights, and we were not ready to leave. That says everything. The service was exceptional from check-in to check-out, precisely orchestrated by a very professional team. The resort itself is beautiful, with a stunning pool and a kids club that our children loved. But what we will truly miss is the people. Two of the team stood out from the very first morning. Bryan delivered on every single request with a big smile, never once made anything feel like a bother, and had a way of making our whole family feel looked after. Chuk had our coffee order ready before we even sat down at breakfast, and greeted us every day with genuine warmth. Between them, they set the tone for our entire stay. Anantara, these two are exceptional, and you should know it. Kobi went well above and beyond too, making sure the whole team looked after us and was there for anything we needed. Fara, who somehow anticipated what we needed before we realised it ourselves. Yam, who quietly made every latte just right. And Newyear, who took such good care of us over lunches and dinners. You are kind, hard-working and genuinely wonderful. Pete at the pool, you are a superstar; our kids loved your high fives. Boss at the fruit station, thank you for always looking after us and getting Max his Mangos. To the rest of the team, we hope we have all your names: An, DD, Planoi, Ploy, JDA, Noah, Viview, Yok, Be and Kae. Thank you all. The handwritten notes you left us on our final day meant more than you know. We will be keeping them. None of this happens without exceptional leadership. Kristoffer, you are the best, and it shows in your team. They work incredibly hard to make sure every guest enjoys their stay, and it never feels forced. We will not forget the kind gestures and thoughtful gifts. We are already looking forward to returning to Anantara Koh Yao Yai.
