Firstly location, the location of Nozha beach hotel is around just under an hour away from Enfidha airport and is pretty straight forward to get to. The atmosphere at the hotel was good, entertainment staff made the experience memorable and were always holding activities throughout the day such as pool side quiz's, contests, dances, darts etc and at night time hold a show which was mid level but did hold bingo with prizes worth while. Rooms were clean with some little issues, we had one of our rooms shower drains not drain properly, one light didn't work at all. Noise Level was ok depending on when you retired to your room, if you went after 11pm/11:30pm you would be ok as entertainment would have finished but if your room was located above the reception you would have some karaoke on but still not a huge issue the balcony doors did mask most of the noise. Amenities, in the shower you got shampoo but I wouldn't recommend using it but that's just personal preference as it wasn't that great. On to the more concerning down sides... Service: Firstly, we flew early morning so we had a full day rather than losing a day. We flew into Tunisia at 9am and got our transfer to the hotel and arrived at around 12pm, now when we went to the reception desk we had to fill in these forms which I didn't understand since we already had a booking the form asked us for all major details like passport number, address etc. Once we filled in the forms we handed them in and was told to be seated and wait. An hour later still no rooms, went to the desk and asked about our rooms and was told only 1 of the 3 rooms were ready which was annoying, so we just asked how long they would take and they said 20 minutes so we waited. 1 more hour passed and still no rooms, went up and asked again and we got the same answer "20 minutes" which annoyed us even more as I believe 20 minutes is just the amount of time everyone is told for anything. We then just resorted to asking for the room key of the room that was ready and we took our bags up and put them in that room until the other room was ready. We got our 2nd and 3rd room later on but am unsure when they were actually done as we chilled at the pool and went back up 2 hours later and were done so cant honestly say when they actually got done but definitely wasn't 20 minutes... Food: My partner has Coeliac Disease and absolutely cannot eat Gluten. Although some things were labelled in the buffet some things were not that should be such as bread there was a lot of bread choices but nothing was labelled, is it gluten free? is it not? Who knows. We did ask a few times but some staff were unsure and gave us a very vague answer which put us off even risking it and so selection was very small and mostly resorted to fruit and cheeses. We booked to eat at the Tunisian restaurant on site and the other one (I forgot the name of it). Nothing on the menu was labelled GF if applicable, when booking we asked the lady about it and when we mentioned the allergy she didn't even know what it meant or what a gluten allergy was and when we explained it to her, her reply was very vague in what my partner could eat and we felt like we were not being listened to. At the Tunisian restaurant both starters were GF thank god and only 1 main is GF in both restaurants. As for the other restaurant only 1 starter was GF, Deserts in both restaurants were not GF. Would not recommend booking at these restaurants when one of your party has a allergy. When we were seated the communication to the kitchen was non existent as they would put a starter that clearly isn't GF like crab claws which have a breaded coating in front of my partner and when we brought this up they went back and forth asking then came over and said it isn't GF and didn't offer an alternative. So what was the point in even speaking to the lady who booked it if no information was getting passed on. Wi-Fi: Wouldn't even bother with the Wi-Fi, purchase an ESim from trusted companies such as revolut etc and use that as signal was great, the Wi-Fi was constantly having issues. I can understand the amount of users being connected but your phone or device would constantly connect and disconnect itself sometimes not reconnecting at all. And once connected the signal was awful and could barely watch a video or send a message without it buffering. Shop on site: There are 2 shops on site, 1 by the entertainment its a small shop but has plenty inside but highly wouldn't recommend it as he makes the price up on the spot. We bought a packet of cigarettes from him 1 day and it was 15 Dinar then the next day it was a lady and she tried charging 20 dinar, I know its only 5 dinar but its the principle. We also tried to buy a hand bag from him which he tried to charge 410 Dinar which is approximately £104, unsure if the bag was real absolutely not I'd rather buy one that price at home where I know its authentic. However the shop outside the hotel by the gate was labelled up still a bit pricey but not too bad marked up a few items and I respect the hustle but nothing too expensive, he was friendly and let us off with a couple dinar here and there when we had to go get more cash, we brought it back later and was absolutely fine with that. All in all I personally wouldn't return to this hotel as the bad far out ways the good and especially with a food allergy we cannot take the risk of mislabelled items or cross contamination when some staff don't actually know what an allergen is.
Pěkný hotel s krásnou pláží a čistým mořem. Pokoje světlé, opravené. Vždy s balkónem, na straně k bazénu vždy výhled na moře. Bazény čisté a voda teplá. Strava bohatá a některé dny speciální pokrmy. Personál milý a ochotný. Skvělé animace každý den! Od letiště vzdálenější, ale vše v tomto hotelu vám to vynahradí.
My husband and I spent a week at the start of September. I had read a lot of mixed reviews and was slightly cautious however, from our experience: Check-In - TERRIBLE. Reception staff had absolutely no clue whatsoever of what was going on. The gentleman collecting the tourist tax needs sacking - no customer service skills at all and just barks at customers (the same man also short changed our currency conversion as he didn't have enough). Absolutely terrible way to greet customers and this their first impression of the hotel. I suggest either new staff or a LOT of training. Room - OKAY. We requested a double and got two single beds pushed together and a third bed in room which was just in the way. Would have been better to get what we booked a double room with some room. Fridge had a half open bottle of water in it so clearly wasn't cleaned, the sink wasn't clean and there were suspicious looking stains on the doorframes. Disappointing first impression. Housekeeping - GOOD. We did tip both ladies and got an exceptional service. Clean towels each day and bed linen swapped twice in the week. Bathroom sink wasn't cleaned the best so I did that myself. Food - OKAY. Food was never hot, just warm and I am convinced is the reason my husband was poorly every day. Decent choice for lunch and dinner but breakfast was hit and miss - juice was warm. Food needs covering!!!! Also do not agree with being able to pick up a french stick and just cut a bit off - unclean hands holding food other people will eat. Beach restaurant was nice and we managed to eat there for 4 nights. Drinks -- OKAY. Needs prosecco or some kind of fizz on the menu - too basic. Some of the cocktails were appalling. Like the fact that they gave you large bottles of water on request. Ask for a carton of milk for your room for hot drinks as you do not get any. Entertainment Staff - EXCELLENT. Hugely hardworking group of people, friendly and took time with people. Kudos to Toto and Marco who have an excellent rapport with guests. Entertainment Day - EXCELLENT. Enjoyed the entertainment around the pool area. Entertainment Night - POOR. Entertainment on the outdoor bar terrace needs huge improvement. We didn't go to the amphitheater as the first night drove us mad. We were hugely disappointed to have missed the white party - this should be weekly and not ad hoc to fit in with other things. Staff - GREAT. Housekeeping, waiting staff, bar staff and entertainment are great. Will we return - to Tunisia yes but sadly not to Nozha Beach.
We are on our way back from spending a week at Nozha beach, the rooms were spotless and was given fresh towels everyday, the pool area was amazing never felt stress when it came to getting a sunbed by the pool, we want to give a massive shoutout to all the staff the cleaners were always so helpful and friendly the waiters in the restaurants were also kind, the animation team were excellent always entertaining us throughout the days and evening a special mention to Toto (hope I spelt his name right) had us laughing the whole holiday! And a massive thank you to Siad who planned us an amazing day trip, whilst on the trip my son had lost his phone, we managed to track the phone and was showing as 36 miles after giving up and thinking we would never be able to get it back I contacted Siad who rang around and managed to find the phone and then dropped it of to our hotel in person! He went above and beyond and we can’t thank him enough ! We would defiently return and highly recommend, thank you for an amazing trip.
Really good animation team, mini club was the best and Rimma my friend is queen of animation
